GIO, a corporation specializing in real estate leasing and consulting.
Sajun, stepping out of the elevator, strode across the lobby with large steps.
He looked more like a model walking down the runway than the company’s CEO.
The lobby was silent, with not a single employee coming out to greet the CEO, which was due to Sajun’s directive to not bother about his irregular comings and goings and just focus on their work.
But the real reason was that Sajun disliked encountering the staff.
Since childhood, Sajun had always been cautious around his stepmother Yeonhwa, yearning for the love he didn’t receive from his biological mother.
It became a habit – watching out for the moods and reactions of his stepmother Yeonhwa, his father Yongjin, and his half-sister Yehui.
As he grew older, others started being cautious around him.
Yet, Sajun disliked people. Their dark thoughts and feelings were too transparent when he was around.
That’s also why he didn’t look people in the eyes or face them directly.

It was when Sajun was crossing the secretary’s office corridor.
The secretaries, as if waiting, got up from their chairs and gathered behind the glass wall.
When Jinwon approached, Sajun gruffly said, “Move the secretarial office downstairs.”
Jinwon, gesturing for the employees to leave, laughed and responded, “Seeing your face is a big perk for the female staff. Endure it for their good spirits. Showing your face doesn’t wear it out.”
“Why should I…”
“You feel good seeing Taehui’s face, don’t you? It’s the same for our secretaries.”
At that, Sajun stopped for a moment.
“Is that the kind of feeling?”
“That’s what it is.”
Understanding at last, Sajun entered his office.

Watching Sajun, Jinwon chuckled.
It was amusing and surprising to see the usually prickly Kang Sajun soften up at the mention of Min Taehui’s name.
Sajun sat at his desk as Jinwon placed a file for approval.
“Please review and approve this today, CEO.”
Jinwon spoke informally for personal conversations but formally for work-related ones, and Sajun had no issue with that.
As Sajun skimmed the document, he said, “Put the three-story building in Dongsun-dong, remodeled earlier this year, on a fixed monthly rent and propose a Starbeans entry. The newly acquired building in Bangbae-dong should be rebuilt into a five-story building. Since it’s located at a bustling intersection, we’ll focus on high-quality tenants.”
“Understood.”
Jinwon was about to leave when Sajun called him back.
“Hyung.”
As Jinwon turned around, Sajun, without taking his eyes off the document, said, “Finalize that dating project, pay the remaining contract amount.”

“You’re not really with Taehui…”
Jinwon stopped himself mid-sentence, worried about saying something out of line.
“Yeah. I’m dating Taehui.”
Sajun, though wanting to boast, replied calmly, giving Jinwon the answer he wanted.
“Congratulations, Kang Sajun! Our CEO finally escaping singlehood. I’m so moved!”
An excited Jinwon approached again.
He offered to treat Sajun if he had time, to celebrate. Or better yet, come out with Taehui. Whether alone or together, he wanted to hear their story.
After Jinwon left, chatting non-stop, the office finally quieted down.
Sajun, sifting through the piles of documents on his desk, chuckled.
“This would be perfect for Taehui.”

The newly acquired and remodeled four-story building was in a bustling area near a women’s university, making it a prime location.
The building, with its retro brick style, housed a bakery café on the first and second floors, a Mediterranean restaurant on the third floor, and a Chinese restaurant on the fourth.
It was a building perfectly suited for Min Taehui, a gourmet who loved food.
Sajun vividly remembered the drunken confession he had poured out to Taehui after his first taste of soju, promising to give everything, including his liver and gallbladder, if she stayed with him forever.
And in that promise of giving his liver and gallbladder, he had also included the building.
It seemed he could give anything to Min Taehui.
But how to justify giving this building to Min Taehui, who even feels burdened by an expensive meal?
Just two days into their relationship, Sajun was deeply contemplating gifting the building when his phone rang.
It was a call from Heegu.
“What’s up at this hour?”
[What, are you busy again?]ads
“No, I’m free.”
Heegu seemed momentarily taken aback by the unexpected response of Sajun being free.
“Why did you call?”
[I’m free too. Let’s have lunch tomorrow if you’re available.]“I don’t like eating out.”
[Is there anything you do like?]There was only one thing that indifferent Sajun cared about: Min Taehui.
[Why aren’t you answering? Planning to say you’re busy tomorrow?]Thinking of Min Taehui relaxed Sajun, and he cheerfully responded.
“Let’s eat, Grandpa. I’ll treat you to something nice tomorrow.”

They would inform their families about their relationship and formally introduce each other.
Sajun felt the need to move things quickly with Min Taehui to prevent her from getting any wrong ideas.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
