At the command to lie down, Sajun obediently lay on the sofa, and it was Taehui who climbed onto Sajun’s body.
The feeling of looking down at Sajun, whom she had always looked up to, was truly exhilarating.
It felt like climbing up a mountain that had not been conquered.
There was no reason in the small hands moving freely on the firm body.
Unable to endure it, the large hand grabbed the slender waist, but it was harshly shaken off.
Under the reddened vision, a man with a fiercely erotic expression was visible.
As patience wore thin and faded away, the intensely lascivious black pupils burned even more intensely.
Bending at the waist and lowering her face, Taehui whispered into the handsome ear, lips pressed against the well-groomed sideburns.
“Tonight, I’m going to get to know you.”
If you got to know me that night, today it’s my turn to get to know you.

I’ve never properly seen this body that looks more exquisite when undressed than when clothed, and I was curious.
The desire for Sajun and the irritated alcoholic atmosphere were twisted and entangled wicked desires.
I love Kang Sajun. I wanted him so desperately. But it was a love I couldn’t have.
The emotions I had tightly suppressed twisted and erupted in a different form.
I wanted to be naughty, torment, and somehow make him mine.
I dared to hope.
On this long, long night, our second night, I wanted it to crumble, collapse, and surrender uncontrollably—not me, but you.
That’s why. Because of tonight, the name Min Taehui, three letters, was engraved on every part of Kang Sajun’s body to the extent that no other woman would dare touch.
As Sajun, whose patience had run out, finally flipped his body and looked down at Taehui, a man with a fiercely lowered gaze and eyes locked with hers was seen.
“Are you crazy, Min Taehui?”

“Yeah, I’m crazy.”
Sajun, who let out a small bitter laugh, brushed back the fallen hair.
The piercing gaze remained fixed on Taehui.
Eyes that revealed overt desire, known only to him.
Looking at those eyes, Taehui’s chest warmed.
I dare to love you.
The impulse to say it surged to the tip of Taehui’s tongue.
Swallowing down that hot and hefty lump again, Taehui calmly called Sajun.
“Kang Sajun.”
The frighteningly low voice flowed out of Sajun’s throat like a scratching sound.

“Call my name again.”
“Kang Sajun.”
“…Again.”
“Sajun-ah.”
She had only called his name. Even so, Sajun’s heart reacted as if in a convulsion.
As the desire, hot and throbbing like pain, intensified, the moment Sajun lowered his upper body, giving in.
“I said I’d do anything you want.”
At Taehui’s words, Sajun slowly straightened his waist again.
Clear eyes, as clear as a transparent stream, calmly looked down at her.
“Then, say that you love me.”

With eyes so clear, why can’t I see into Min Taehui’s heart?
“If I say I love you, are you going to leave?”
At Taehui’s subdued retort, she quietly smiled.
“Yeah, I’ll leave.”
A deep and long sigh escaped.
“No, I won’t, absolutely won’t.”
Sajun spat out as if chewing on something.
“Even if I want to hear those words?”
“…Why would I want to say them?”
“Well, because it feels like I won’t forget it for a lifetime?”
At the light response that blew like a breeze, Sajun couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief.

Of course, he wouldn’t forget it for a lifetime.
You might leave me after hearing those words.
Even without saying it, the tangled threads inside, like tangled yarn, twisted once again.
What do you think of me? What do you want to do with me?
Pulling me in, warming me up intensely, then freezing me again. What’s the purpose?
With Sajun’s silence, Taehui, with a subtle smile, made an even more subtle remark.
“Who knows? As if waiting for that confession, instead of leaving, I might confess that I love you.”
“…Aren’t you curious about my sincerity?”
Min Tae was weak.
Unable to pull out the splinter, her eyes rolled back, and if she said such words, she really wanted to bet everything.

Even if it’s a 1% slim chance, willingly.
To grab the core confined within the hard shell, to pull it out. To confess and then leave, proudly.
Even though she had been by his side for 13 years, she couldn’t understand Min Taehui’s inner turmoil, who, though she hadn’t expressed it, had broken Sajun’s absolute rule first.
Min Taehui, who couldn’t lose at anything, looking for an excuse to leave after winning the bet.
Knowing that, I still waver.
Sajun murmured to himself.
“It’s a fake.”
With a cool smile, Taehui gave an answer that was neither positive nor negative.
“Kang Sajun, even in a fake, there is sincerity.”
If I say I love you, I’ll let you know that sincerity.

Whispering like that, the inside of her head felt hot and scattered like confetti.
Reason blurred, judgment clouded.
The more so, I have to stay alert.
As if knowing Sajun’s stubborn silence, Taehui muttered softly.
“Coward.”
To that remark, Sajun tacitly agreed.
If I can catch you because you can’t run away and keep you by my side, if I can only have you, I will gladly become a coward.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
