I'll Protect the Tyrant Daddy! (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 7
Only the Attendant was stunned on the spot by the promotion beyond imagination.
Even after hearing those words, Matthias spoke as if it were of no consequence.
“Cien will be delighted. I must go tell her at the spire right away.”
“It’ll take some time to prepare, so keep it secret for now.”
“…If necessary, I shall.”
Sparks flew between them once more. Just as the caught-in-the-middle Attendant gulped nervously, Matthias coldly continued.
“Oh, compiling a list of those who’ve spoken ill of Cien takes precedence over the promotion.”
The Attendant sensed that the entire retainer family would soon be obliterated.
Yet that wasn’t all he had to report.
The Attendant cautiously opened his mouth.
“T-that’s not all! There’s something even more astonishing!”
“What on earth happened?”
The Attendant kept speaking.
Matthias’s eyes turned icy as he listened.
Watching him, the Duchess smirked with evident interest.
“The child seems extraordinarily clever, wouldn’t you agree?”
Glancing briefly at the Attendant, the Duchess then turned to Matthias.
“My daughter has always been intelligent.”
Her beautiful face, defined by sharp lines, frowned.
“She’s clever, yes—but far too fragile, young, and adorable. Delicate as if she might shatter at any moment, and so tender-hearted… She’s easily hurt. She doesn’t fit this family at all.”
The Attendant tilted his head, puzzled.
‘Well, she seems less fragile and more sharp-witted and decisive. I even recall her glaring fiercely and scolding someone regardless of who they were.’
Of course, the Attendant had no chance to interject—Duchess Lukella swiftly changed the subject.
“…You reckless fool. Do you even know? The Elder Council is showing signs of nominating you as Duke.”
The Council’s endorsement was a double-edged sword.
The heir would be placed on trial.
If they nominated an unprepared heir candidate, that candidate would perish on the judgment stand—and the Council likely intended exactly that.
Knowing this, Matthias gave a dry chuckle and swept back his hair with a bored expression.
His sharp jawline and delicate features were devastatingly handsome—enough to make the Attendant roll his eyes.
“They must truly want to finish me off properly.”
His words, too, carried a strangely lethal charm.
Naturally, Duchess Lukella simply nodded calmly as she regarded him.
“That does seem to be the case.”
The Elder Chairman’s attitude fell well within her expectations.
Smirking coldly, just as he had when beheading that insolent Thieves’ Guild Master in the past, he said,
“I anticipated this. Well then, I should take my leave now.”
The Duchess tilted her head and muttered ironically,
“It’s the day you’ve taken one step closer to the dukedom—where’s the champagne?”
“It is a joyous occasion, but I must go see Cien.”
“So you intend to throw a celebration party, then?”
“Perhaps. It’s a good day—I might as well hold a party.”
Cien would surely be delighted to hear about Duchess Lukella’s ‘gift.’
‘When should I tell her?’
A bright, sunlit smile finally broke through his otherwise icy expression.
[This is the timeline separator]Having finished all my lessons, I stepped outside. The Education Officer and the Discipline Officer watched me with opposing expressions.
And then…
A masked boy, whose name I still didn’t know, followed my wobbly steps.
“Moya. Why are you following me?”
“Let’s do something fun together. I’ve got something to give you.”

I glanced around. Frowning Muscular Maids encircled us. After checking my expression, they solemnly declared in unison,
“No. Lady Cien must go straight to the northern spire.”
Their firm voices and burly, muscular arms…
‘S-scary.’
…These were definitely the maids I’d completely won over with protein. Yet somehow, I felt as if they might drag me off at any moment.
But apparently, I was the only one so intimidated. The masked boy, true to his heritage as a scion of a shadowy house, stared them down without a hint of trembling in his voice.
“Why not? It’s just a quick game of pretend. It’s not like the family rules say you must be dragged straight to the spire after class.”
‘…That’s logical! Like an invincible spear!’
Yet the Muscular Maids seemed to wield an impenetrable shield. Unfazed, they replied,
“It is the command of His Highness Archduke Matthias, your father.”
And they lifted their chins proudly, as if thrilled by their own words!
‘So what if Father gave the order? Everyone here thinks he’s too kind and ignores him anyway.’
Especially this boy, who clearly came from that scheming family. I glanced at him—and froze.
Fortunately, the boy seemed more gentlemanly than I’d expected. Though his expression was hidden, his tightly set lips looked slightly awkward.
‘Huh? He actually took that hit!’
After a brief hesitation, the boy insisted again to the maids,
“Then step back a bit. I just need to give her one gift.”
I blinked at him.
‘A gift? What about my opinion?’
Gifts from villainous families were usually like bombs.
I shook my head firmly at him.
“I won’t accept it.”
But his next words were tempting enough to make me reconsider.
“Liar. Didn’t you say you wanted to live?”
“Huh…?”
“If you take this, you can live.”
My round eyes widened even further.
Whenever the topic of “wanting to live” came up, my eyes would sparkle like a twinkling baby star.
‘Anyway, the maids are right here… He doesn’t seem like he’ll hurt me here… And if I show fear to him, I’ll never take over his villainous house! I must act confidently!’
Perhaps sensing my inner conflict, the Muscular Maids stepped back a few paces—just close enough that a tiny baby’s voice would be barely audible.
Satisfied with the situation, the boy said to me,
“Here.”
He placed a small necklace in my hand. I tilted my head, puzzled by the tiny pendant he’d set upon my palm.
Engraved in relief on the pendant was a tiny Fairy with wings.
“…Huh?”
This was…
We looked into each other’s eyes and spoke at the same time.
“It’s a healing Fairy’s necklace.”
“The Fairy’s necklace!”
The necklace the boy offered was the very “Fairy’s necklace” I’d always wanted.
A genuine Fairy’s necklace bore a red slash on its pendant—a vivid crimson mark rarely visible except in sunlight.
After examining it carefully for a moment, I let out a soft gasp of admiration.
‘I thought it was fake, but this necklace is real.’
Of course, the Fairy’s necklace wasn’t a rare item.
Though it served as a conduit to summon ancient Fairies, hardly anyone nowadays could summon a Fairy spirit, so it didn’t fetch a high price.
It was cheap enough that even a child from a noble house could afford it as a gift…
The boy, aware of this, spoke awkwardly,
“Even if I can’t summon a Fairy, the healing power inside can still be used—though only to a limited extent.”
I blinked at the gift he’d given me.
‘So it’s a healing Fairy’s necklace. To others, it might be a useless trinket, but to me—a baby—it’s precious! It might help me survive just a little longer!’

Since I didn’t stop him, the Muscular Maids exchanged whispers.
To any ordinary observer, it seemed like a harmless gift. And since the owner herself didn’t object, the maids certainly wouldn’t dare interfere.
I was utterly frozen in place.
‘This is truly… an unexpected windfall!’
With wide, rabbit-like eyes, I clutched the necklace he’d given me.
‘With the healing power in this necklace, I might be able to protect Father—at least temporarily.’
The Fairy’s necklace artifact.
Common-looking, yet far more useful than people realized—if handled properly.
I never trusted kindness without a price.
After all, aside from Father, no one had ever shown me goodwill without expecting something in return.
Grateful as I was, I remembered the old saying: “Tap the stone bridge before crossing.”
Puckering my lips like a bird’s beak, I asked primly,
“Why are you giving this to me?”
The boy hesitated slightly at my question.
That was odd.
Frowning, he kicked a pebble embedded in the ground.
“You said you wanted to live.”
“…”
“If you were found dead tomorrow, it’d be no fun. You’re in serious danger—and I don’t want you to die.”
…I hadn’t realized my situation was that dire.
Truly, the Mirmod house of villains was perilous indeed.
“I see…”
My hand trembled slightly.
He glanced at me, raised one eyebrow, and said,
“Anyway, a healing necklace that can’t even summon a Fairy isn’t important to me. I don’t need it.”
He wasn’t the type to mince words—even with a five-year-old.
I fiddled with the necklace he’d given me and smiled brightly.
“Okay! Then can you put the Fairy’s necklace around my neck?”
“…Huh? Is it okay if my hand touches you?”
He was different now—less confident than before. He clenched and unclenched his hands restlessly.
‘Why would he say that? And why act like this?’
Not understanding what was going on, I narrowed my eyes slightly and nodded.
“Yeah!”
I spoke casually.
But Leonhardt’s trembling hands showed no sign of stopping.
Just as I looked at him quizzically, Leonhardt shook his head resolutely.
“…N-no. You might get cursed.”
“…Huh?”
Even when I nodded reassuringly, Leonhardt remained firm. He called out to a maid,
“Hey, Maid. Put this necklace on her.”
“Oh, yes. Understood.”
Maid Sister took the necklace and fastened it around my neck. The Fairy’s necklace clicked snugly into place.
I beamed.
‘Now that I have a bit of healing power, my chance of survival just went up by 1%!’
I decided to sincerely deliver the thanks I’d been holding back.
“Thank you! I’m really, really happy!”
He nodded awkwardly, watching my hair shimmer in the sunlight.
“It’s nothing. I just…”
Seeing him bashfully kick pebbles to avoid praise, I realized something felt off.
I should’ve said, “Thank you, older brother,” but I still didn’t know his name.

“Hey, I’m curious—what’s your name?”
“You’re curious about my name?”
“Yeah! We’re friends!”
His face was hidden behind the mask, but the moon-blossom smile spreading across his lips told me my flattery had worked perfectly.
Smiling contentedly, I tried to recall names of the relatively decent people from the villainous house.
‘Was it Cecil?’
Though that person was a wanted criminal, they seemed quite decent as far as people went—
“Leonhardt.”
…Huh?
“Leonhardt… you said?”
“Yes.”
His earlobes flushed red as he lowered his head, staring at his own hands—the trembling in them had only just subsided.
But…
Leonhardt?!
My hands nearly shook off. My legs had long since gone limp.
Of course I knew who Leonhardt was.
How could I not know the name of the infamous, incredibly, unbelievably notorious villain from “The Life of Melodia”?
‘The legendary villain who annihilated an entire Imperial army?’
The black-haired boy with sky-blue eyes. The one rumored to kill people and tattoo their skin. The one nicknamed the Duke’s “Mad Dog.” The moment I realized this masked boy before me was Leonhardt, my head spun.
‘As far as I remember, he was an extraordinary villain right from the start!’
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
