From what Cien liked to eat to her favorite things—so deep had their fandom gone that even walking for a long time didn’t make their legs ache.

After walking for several dozen minutes, they reached the outer grounds of the mansion where the Duchess was staying—and ran straight into Duchess Lukella herself, who was out for a stroll.

Just as Ashid crouched down in surprise at the unexpected encounter, the Duchess addressed Leonhardt with a cold expression.

“What were you two so happily discussing?”

“Ah… Nothing.”

Duchess Lukella shook her head, watching Leonhardt’s stiff demeanor.

She knew full well that whenever this boy talked about Cien, the corners of his mouth would lift high—but the moment the topic changed, his face would return to its usual blankness.

Pretending not to notice, she continued.

“If you were talking about Honey Bun, I’ll arrange a meeting for the three of us soon. We also need to hold poison lessons.”

Leonhardt replied immediately.

“Very well.”

He tried to hide his excitement, but a smile had already crept onto his lips.
