A villain’s intuition stabbed coldly into her chest, yet no matter how Cien looked, she wore only an innocent expression—as if she knew nothing at all.

Seeing the child’s guileless face, Ted cautiously questioned her.

“Why must you go to the capital’s filthy streets, Lady Cien? The safety there isn’t good.”

Pat and Matt uncomfortably eyed the stiff holy knight.

He seemed not to have learned even the first stroke of loyalty.

Right now, Pat and Matt were acting as nannies behind the child, following Lord Matthias’s command—yet this knight’s loyalty couldn’t even allow a trip into a Gypsy back alley.

If Cien Mirmod had truly turned wicked, Ted would have had to kneel right then and there.

But contrary to the villains’ unspoken expectations, Cien puffed out her plump cheeks and said coolly and casually,

“Hmm, I just wanna.”
