So, I had to secure Ted without fail.

To do that, I needed to rescue Ted’s brother and hand him over.

But I didn’t think I could recognize Ted’s brother immediately.

I let out a deep sigh, trying to remember the boy’s appearance.

‘Since he is a child, maybe he’s in the orphanage on the poor streets?’

A child that I remembered because I thought he resembled my younger self.

Yes, the child described in the novel was clearly one who had suffered.

I, who was planning to call Ted and go to that street together, hesitated for a moment.

‘Maybe, if Ted sees his family living in suffering, he might go berserk.’

An outburst of sacred power is not a good thing.

I blinked my eyes and lost myself in thought.

If I had lost my father, and I found out that he was living in a terrible environment, and I had to see that situation myself.

I didn’t even want to imagine that scenario.

I changed into common clothes, repeating the plan I made yesterday, with the two maids.

To disguise myself to look like a typical common child, I put a bright blue beret on my head and wore suspenders. I applied light soot to my face to cover my white skin.

The maids needed a bit more time for disguise.

Having finished the disguise, they were all set to depart for Pelrod Street.

My sisters and I, hand in hand, walked silently and spoke looking down at a dead bird at the front of Pelrod Street.

“We finally arrived!”

“Yes, where do you plan to go from here?”

A somber voice echoed from the large veil hat. I tried to recall the contents from the original work, but I did not know exactly where that child would be at this point in Pelrod Street.

Would it be in the orphanage within Pelrod Street, or already working somewhere?

‘I should start looking now.’

“Shall we walk around a bit?”

I thought I had a rough idea where the orphanage was, so I shouted with the intention of going there first.

“Yes! I’m excited.”

“It feels like an adventure.”
