“Don’t these rifts seem a bit quieter than before?”

After dispatching a few monsters, they reached a rift that appeared less intense than it had been previously. Kirshan frowned, stared intently at the rift, then pulled a magic detector from his chest.

A faint blue light emanated from the detector.

“It definitely seems weaker. Normally, when you get close to a rift, it shines so brightly it feels like it’s about to explode…”

Half of the rifts appeared weakened, while the other half remained active.

“Then there are only two possible reasons for their weakening: either the Demon God’s power is waning, or it’s withdrawing its strength for something greater.”
