I Will No Longer Live As Your Villainess (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 22
“Thank you for your care, Marquis Spencer.”
After checking Lorencia’s complexion once more, Teishar finally let go of her hand and began meticulously inspecting the sofa where she was to sit.
“Lady Lorencia, please sit here. I’ve brought extra-soft cushions in advance. If you feel uncomfortable, please let me know—I’ll switch them out for different cushions or pillows. Please, have a seat, Lady Lorencia.”
“Thank you for looking after me, Marquis Spencer.”
Adrian stared at Teishar’s face as if seeing him for the first time. Charlotte felt the same way.
Ordinarily, Teishar—with his neat black hair, crimson eyes, well-trained physique, and tall stature—attracted attention, but more than that, the overwhelming aura surrounding him instinctively made ordinary people feel intimidated.
Yet right now, Teishar resembled nothing so much as a mother bird meticulously tending to her fledgling ready to leave the nest.
“However, considering I’m in the presence of Her Highness the Princess and His Highness the Crown Prince, is it truly acceptable for me to sit down first like this? I apologize, Your Highness. And to you as well, Her Highness Princess Charlotte. My manners are rather lacking. I’d appreciate your understanding.”
“You may sit, Lady Lorencia.”
Lorencia’s heart pounded with tension as she settled onto the sofa. No matter how many times she’d foreseen this scenario, experiencing it in reality was entirely different.
“For the time being, we intend to keep Lady Lorencia under the Imperial Palace’s protection. However, once the duel of honor between Viscount Lorilors and Prince Luans concludes, you’ll need to return to the count’s manor.”
“Yes.”
Lorencia nodded in response to Charlotte’s calm statement.
“Given that Madam Anne will likely be punished and sent to a convent, it would indeed be appropriate for me to return to the count’s manor. And doing so would greatly improve the Imperial Palace’s public image for having protected me.”
“Exactly, Lady Lorencia.”

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”
