Blake spotted the figures standing at the main gate of Terios Church.

The golden hair of the one pulling back his hood shimmered, reflecting the moonlight.

This brightness contrasted starkly with the blood droplets dotting his face beneath.

Mounted atop a pitch-black horse, he resembled a statue from the temple itself.

Their slowly shifting gazes met Blake’s. Those blue eyes, moving through the air, seemed as if devoured by emptiness, tinged with gray.

Seeing Damian—resembling a walking corpse—Blake’s eyes narrowed. Damian looked even worse than right after his sister had collapsed.

Blake spurred his horse forward and halted right before Damian, glaring fiercely at the church reeking of blood.

“Are you insane? If you’re going to lose your mind, at least go mad gracefully. Even if you’ve lost your senses… If you’re going to lose them like this, you’d be doing everyone a favor by just staying locked in your room.”

Blake reached out and immediately seized Damian by the collar.

Pulled forward by Blake’s grip on his hood, Damian’s upper body tilted toward him.

Yet despite Blake’s rudeness, Damian showed little reaction.

Meeting Damian’s dull gaze, Blake bit his lower lip.

“Are you doing this because you don’t realize that killing like this won’t let you avoid punishment? Can’t you even make a judgment?”

Blake shook Damian violently by the collar and shouted, but Damian remained utterly silent.

Charles, who had been watching anxiously nearby, stepped in and restrained Blake’s hand.
