Alexander immediately sprang into action.

“Shut up!”

But it was already too late. The despair of realizing they had fallen into a trap, completely fooled by the enemy’s strategy, had already sunk deep into the hearts of the imperial soldiers.

Alexander clenched his teeth. If they didn’t regain their composure, they were all as good as dead. No—even if they did, they might still die.
