“Wow, this is seriously delicious!”

Vincent couldn’t hide his childlike exclamations at his first taste of bingsu.

Lucas, actually seven years old, simply smiled politely.

“A cold dessert? That’s fascinating. In our Twins Empire, it’s so cold we don’t have anything like this.”

I gently pushed the bingsu bowl—Vincent had unknowingly drawn it closer to himself—nearer to Lucas and gave a soft smile.

“Then eat as much as you like. I’ll order more, as long as you don’t eat so much you get a stomachache.”

But someone else was far more thrilled by my words.

“Me, me! Order one more—I mean, since Cedric’s bound to come running when he hears about this, let’s just go ahead and add three more bowls!”

I shot Vincent a sideways glance and sighed softly.

“You’re his cousin, right? Aren’t you even a little worried he still hasn’t come back yet?”

“Him?”

Vincent stared at me with wide, incredulous eyes.

For a moment, he stayed silent—then broke into his signature cackling laugh.

I wouldn’t have minded much if only Vincent, that uniquely odd man, reacted that way—but Lucas looked just as puzzled.

“Worrying about that guy would be far less economical than worrying about your ex-husband, the one who supposedly ran off and got divorced.”
