I peered over the low wall surrounding the training grounds, glancing toward Cedric.

‘Oh dear, I hid without even realizing it in my surprise!’

It had only been a nighttime stroll—I’d simply wanted to see the glow of the “Demon King’s Gift” once more.

But the light spilling from the training grounds in the rear garden had ignited my curiosity.

I hadn’t come with any particular thought in mind…

Only to find Cedric swinging a wooden practice sword completely bare-chested.

‘Ugh, I shouldn’t have come. Why did I have to get curious for no reason?’

If Cedric saw me, he might think I’d secretly followed him here.
