Adrian is trying to have a deeply tender, vulnerable moment in the dark where he gathers the courage to confess his feelings, but Juno completely derails the romance by gasping in horror and telling him he’s planting a death flag. Her immediate survival instinct kicking in to shut him up so they don’t get crushed by the spaceship is peak comedy.- I don’t know who juno will choose to be her lover..i support Adrian..but maybe juno prefers friendship for all the boys? 😁
- The tension completely shifts from sci-fi survival to intimate romance the second Juno pulls that broken fountain pen out of her pocket under the moonlight. This wasn’t just any pen; it was the prize she won for him, and discovering that the ever-composed Adrian had been secretly carrying it in his chest pocket through dangerous dungeon raids completely changes the game. Juno standing there with messy hair and a dirt-smudged face, accidentally uncovering his deepest, quietest feelings, is an incredibly sweet and vulnerable cliffhanger.
