She had hoped that a princess taken as a ward from another country could be easily educated and groomed.

However, the princess, who had not received proper treatment even in her home country, was not discouraged. Instead, she was brighter and more cheerful than anyone else.

“Yeah. It turned out to be fun. There’s nothing else to do here. Other princesses probably won’t invite me to their tea parties. So, I thought I’d try farming to earn some money. Want to join me?”

After everyone left, Stella focused on making beds for the fairies in the room so that they could sleep comfortably. She emptied four jewelry boxes to make the beds.

Necklaces, bracelets, and rings were gathered and placed in a slightly larger box. Mila would be shocked if she saw it, but there was no other way.

“Stella, we can sleep anywhere!”

“Yeah. Don’t worry about us.”

Ark and Esta jumped up to say, but Stella didn’t even acknowledge them. She carefully filled the jewelry box by taking out feathers from the pillow and covered it with a handkerchief.
And thinking about what pieces of cloth could be used as blankets, Stella remembered the fabric scraps she had set aside for consideration when she recently purchased additional winter fabrics.

Searching through the drawer, she luckily found the fabric pieces she hadn’t discarded. Stella neatly arranged the square-cut fabric pieces on the bed she had made for the fairies.

Though a bit makeshift, reasonably well-made beds were created.

After finishing, it felt belatedly like playing with dolls.

It seemed slightly amusing.

Stella attempted to spread the jewelry box on the table, but she quickly changed the location as Mila and Bryn, who entered early in the morning, might misunderstand.

“Would it be okay if I put your beds under my bed?”

“Yeah, sure. It’s nice being next to the pickaxe.”

Stella apologized, and to her surprise, Ark welcomed it, saying it was great to sleep next to the noble pickaxe. He even uttered baseless words about gaining a mystical aura by sleeping next to the noble pickaxe.

Seeing the fairies lying down one by one inside the jewelry box, it was too adorable.

“Aren’t you cold?”

The fairies’ enthusiastic words made Stella feel even happier. She thought she should practice sewing diligently from now on to make blankets softer for the children to cover themselves and sleep comfortably.

The bedroom where she had always slept alone now had more family members.

Under the bed, four fairies were making gentle snoring sounds. They alternated competitively snoring, but it was not noisy at all. Instead, it felt like she had gained reliable reinforcements, making her very happy.

Stella could experience a sense of fullness and happiness that she had never felt in her birthplace, allowing her to sleep deeply that day.

Early morning.

The fairies, who usually didn’t need much sleep at night, woke up abruptly before the morning sun rose.

“Since we received a precious gift from Stella, shouldn’t we give her something in return?”

Upon Ark’s suggestion, Iber nodded silently. Once Iber agreed, it was as good as everyone agreeing. Ark earnestly pondered what gift would be appropriate.

After a moment, Estha, who had an idea, opened her eyes wide and clapped her hands.

“Let’s give her what we love the most.”

“Yeah! That would be great!”

For once, the four who rarely agreed looked at each other and burst into laughter.
