Stella, who wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about plants, knew that seeds don’t sprout the day after they’re planted. She watched Arck’s chubby body moving lightly and swiftly ahead, marveling anew at the existence of earth fairies.
Indeed, seeing beings invisible to others was far from ordinary. Why could she alone see these creatures?
No matter how much she pondered, she couldn’t find a reason. Could her mother have had a connection with earth fairies? She suddenly remembered showing her mother an earth spirit in Amalrun and getting slapped for it.
Thinking back, the slap felt unusually harsh. Her mother had never struck her face before. Could her mother have been able to see earth spirits?
“What are you doing? Hurry up!”
Snapped out of her reverie by Arck’s urging voice, Stella quickened her pace.
“Now, tear open the pouch!”
Arck urged, beaming with excitement. His round, expectant face made Stella feel inexplicably happy, and the gloom from thinking about her mother vanished.
Squatting down, Stella carefully opened the pouch given by the earth fairy.
The pouch, shaped like a giant water droplet, unfolded like a mat when she pulled its pointed ends apart.

“Are these carrot seeds?”
This was her first time seeing plant seeds. Stella examined the fairy carrot seeds in her palm with curiosity.
Though she didn’t know the usual size of carrot seeds, these fairy carrot seeds were quite small. They were covered in tiny, soft hairs. Stella gently stroked the seeds with her fingertip.
“Don’t do that, the hairs won’t come off! You need to pick the seed and rub it between your palms to remove the hairs.”
Unaware that the hairs needed to be removed, Stella nodded and poured more seeds from the pouch into her hand.
As soon as the seeds touched her palm, her heart raced with excitement, similar to the happiness she felt when holding the pickaxe. It was an overwhelming emotion, nearly bringing her to tears.
Puzzled by her own reaction, Stella held back the tears and started rubbing the seeds between her palms.
“Wow! You’re doing great!”
“Definitely a natural-born farmer! To remove the hairs from so many seeds at once! Stella is truly gifted!”
“Maybe it’s because her hands are big?”

“No matter, she’s still doing well!”
Arck and Esta stood side by side, bouncing excitedly, cheering on Stella as she rubbed the carrot seeds. The sincere encouragement for such a trivial task was amusing, but it made her feel good.
“What now?”
Stella showed the shiny seeds and asked. Arck, assuming a serious demeanor, tapped Stella’s palm with his tiny hand.
“Very good. Now just plant them in the soil.”
He gave a sort of teacherly encouragement, but his tiny palm on her finger felt adorably small. Arck then demonstrated planting a seed, taking out a small shovel, digging gently into the soil, placing a seed, and covering it with dirt.
“It’s simple, right?”
It didn’t seem difficult, so Stella nodded and poked the ground with her pickaxe.
As the sharp end of the pickaxe smoothly pierced the soil, an indescribable thrill ran through her body.
Stella dropped a seed into the small hole she made with the pickaxe and was about to cover it with soil when…

“No, that’s too deep!”
She paused, holding a handful of soil. Meanwhile, Esta hurried into the hole, retrieved the dropped seed, and came back out.
The seed buried in the soil was barely visible, yet Esta astoundingly managed to find it with ease. Arck leaned on the pickaxe and shook his head.
“Carrot seeds need sunlight to sprout. That’s why you can’t bury them too deeply. Just dig a little, like this, and plant the seed.”
“Ah, got it!”
Stella began planting the fairy carrot seeds as instructed by Arck. Initially, it seemed like there were too many seeds, but as she continued, the two pouches quickly emptied.
“Wow, you did great. As expected of a noble farmer!”
Hearing Arck’s praise, Stella smirked and then composed herself. Who would have thought she’d genuinely enjoy being praised for farming?
“Now just sprinkle some water to prevent the seeds from washing away in the rain, and you’re done.”
This didn’t seem too difficult either. The problem was the lack of a nearby water source. However, her dilemma didn’t last long.
“I’ll sprinkle the water.”

It was Esta who volunteered.
“Really?”
“Of course. We said we’d help.”
“Right! Esta has a strong summer aura. She knows where the water paths are and is great at watering plants!”
As Arck continued, Esta’s chin lifted high in pride. Her swaggering demeanor was quite adorable.
“Wait here. I’ll bring the water quickly.”
Stella was astonished by what followed. Esta returned with a round water pouch, balancing it like a tray, and began dropping water onto the freshly seeded soil.
There wasn’t a lot of water in the vessel, but tiny droplets continuously fell from Esta’s transparent water pouch. The soil around the seeds quickly moistened.
“Done!”
After dropping water on the last planted seed, Esta gulped down the remaining water and triumphantly cheered. It was a truly remarkable ability.

“You can control water like that?”
Amazed, Stella watched as Esta blushed slightly, scratching her head.
“I’m just a low-level earth fairy, so I can only do this for now. As my power grows, I can bring light rain to the fields you create.”
“You are much more amazing than I thought!”
As Stella clapped and admired her, Esta shrugged her shoulders and smiled bashfully. Watching her, Arck approached the soil where the fairy carrots were planted, spread his legs wide, and stood.
“Stella, watch what I can do! I can do something really cool too.”
As Stella ceased clapping and looked at him, Arck spread his tiny palm and stretched his arms upward, like cheering.
He then closed his eyes tight, puffed his cheeks full of air, and ballooned his already round cheeks like a frog.
“His cheeks are going to burst!”
Worried, Stella nudged Esta to intervene, but Esta crossed her arms and shook her head.

“He’s got smaller cheeks than last year. Inflate them more.”
Instead of stopping him, Esta encouraged Arck to puff up even more. His cheeks swelled alarmingly large, reaching a point where it seemed necessary to intervene.
“Stop, you’ll hurt yourself!”
Just as Stella urgently called out, Arck bent towards the ground where the seeds were planted.
Hooo, hooo, hooo!
He rounded his lips and blew breath towards the ground, swaying his head side to side to evenly distribute it. Arck circled the seeded area, blowing continuously, resembling a pufferfish.
After a long while, Arck finally stopped. Despite having exhaled for so long, he seemed rather refreshed.
“Are you okay?”
Stella closely observed Arck’s face and asked, “Are you okay?” Mirroring Esta’s earlier gesture, Arck shrugged his shoulders and pouted his lower lip playfully.
“It’s nothing. How about that? Impressive, right?”
Arck pointed to the ground where he had been blowing for a long time. Honestly, Stella couldn’t tell the difference before and after the breath, but she clapped anyway.

“That’s really amazing. To breathe out for so long like that. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Stella clapped louder, trying to boost Arck’s spirit. However, she gradually stopped as she sensed something unusual.
The strange feeling seemed to emanate from the soil where Arck had just blown his breath.
A faint light began to emerge from the ground where the seeds had been planted.
“What’s this?”
Curious, Stella bent down to get a closer look at the light, momentarily forgetting how Mila might react to seeing her like this. But at that moment, Stella’s focus was solely on the extraordinary occurrence before her.
“See, I knew you could see it. That’s the blessing of spring. It’s the power I can give to these cute seeds.”
Gently, Stella placed her hand over the faintly glowing light. The light touching her palm felt warm and tender, yet so brilliant it brought tears to her eyes.
“It’s beautiful.”
A single tear rolled down Stella’s cheek.

Male lead Asks for a Divorce Every Day
It’s not often you come across a plot like this in the female-dominant genre — make sure to check it out!
This is a novel I’m planning to reread as well.
The male lead is strong, skilled in martial arts, and not the usual fragile type you often see in matriarchal novels.
Meanwhile, the female lead is a scientist—rational and logical. Even when she falls for the male lead, she doesn’t let her emotions cloud her decisions.
If you push through the first few chapters, you’ll gradually find the story really intriguing.
It has a mix of mystery, detective elements, and romance.
The author’s writing style is like crafting a puzzle—except they deliberately leave out a few pieces, making it hard to predict what happens next, yet keeping you hooked.
In the end, everything will come together and be explained.
One-sentence summary: Wife, stop playing with beakers and look at me!
In a laboratory accident, research scientist Zhu Wansheng accidentally travels to a matriarchal world. The original owner of the body is an eighteen-year-old only daughter of a wealthy rouge merchant, already married with a handsome young man.
Zhu Wansheng grins: Nice! She always said she was heaven’s favorite granddaughter. After a life of toil in her previous life, she can enjoy blessings in this one.
However, her joy lasts no more than three seconds as bad news arrives: the original owner’s family is about to go bankrupt, and her husband wants a divorce.
Even worse, she’s stuck with a research system full of restrictions.
Zhu Wansheng: ? Is this the destiny of a research dog?
——
Faced with this mess, Zhu Wansheng pours herself a bowl of wine to drown her sorrows. In her drunken haze, her husband arrives.
His figure is imposing, holding a long sword, with a dignified air that captivates Zhu Wansheng.
Gu Yingqing, however, looks at the alcohol-reeking Zhu Wansheng with undisguised disgust and coldly asks, “Divorce or not?” The intoxicated Zhu Wansheng mumbles vaguely, “I think… it’s not… it’s not… impossible!”
——
The next day, after sobering up, Zhu Wansheng is full of energy, rolling up her sleeves ready to make a big move. As for yesterday? She has no memory of it.
Zhu Wansheng is ambitious; a research dog fears nothing!
Upgrading rouge, extracting fragrances, producing perfumes, researching lipsticks… all shall bow to the power of modern technology!
The original owner’s dying rouge shop is revitalized. Her mother is pleased and with a wave of her hand, passes on the family business to her. As she takes control and her experimental results gain popularity, it’s the pinnacle of her life…
——
But there are always those who can’t stand to see her doing well. Jealousy, scheming, assassination attempts – they want nothing less than her life.
The person who has always kept his distance from her suddenly holds her tightly in his arms, eyes full of concern.
She is unharmed, but he falls into a pool of blood…
Zhu Wansheng feels guilty, “I can grant you one wish.”
Gu Yingqing tentatively circles his arms around her, carefully resting his head in the crook of her neck, pleading softly, “I regret it. Can we not divorce?”
Zhu Wansheng: ? When did I agree to a divorce?
[Small Theater]
The newly developed rouge is beautifully packaged, and Zhu Wansheng is eager to try it.
Gu Yingqing suddenly appears: “My lady, may I apply it for you?”
Cool fingertips lightly brush her lips. His Adam’s apple bobs as he leans in for a light bite.
Zhu Wansheng: ?
Gu Yingqing: It smells so good, I wanted to taste it…
On a warm spring day, Zhu Wansheng tries a new perfume: “Spring Night.” Gu Yingqing corners her against a wall.
Warm breath lingers on her neck.
“My lady, from now on, may I test the fragrances for you?”
