Hertian, smiling beneath his robe, seemed slightly excited. He firmly took my hand and led me onto a street in the capital lined with noble estates. Among them was the Leangberia Count’s residence, so I thought we might be heading there—but he stopped in front of an elegant, antique mansion built of white stone.

“Is this it?”

“Yeah. Let’s go in.”

Without offering any explanation, he silently stepped inside first. As if he had been expected, the household butler came out to greet us and opened the door.

“My master has been waiting for you. This way, please.”

Remarkably, the butler recognized Hertian immediately and greeted him warmly. Hertian entered naturally.

As though this weren’t his first visit, he followed the butler’s guidance without hesitation. I walked in, carefully observing the mansion.

Deep in the courtyard, I saw a spacious indoor garden made entirely of glass. The butler briskly approached, opened the garden door, and gave a slight bow.
