I Decided to Let You Go (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 84
Ah, Natasha.
Frosty breath escaped, and the man’s deep sorrow drifted through the emptiness like pipe smoke curling upward. Soon, it traced the path Zieghart had to walk.
His sluggish steps shifted his sturdy frame. It was arduous to take even two steps, as if his ankles and the floor had fused together. Zieghart barely managed to move, creating distance between them.
Ah, Natasha.
The closer he drew to the woman’s form, the more grotesquely twisted his face became.
His vision, shaped like a rounded oval, shriveled and distorted in every direction, losing its form. Clinging desperately to the dimming world ahead, Zieghart pressed onward resolutely.
The moment he finally reached the bed, his tension broke. His legs, loosened along with it, nearly tangled beneath him, almost sending him toppling backward.
Natasha lay starkly alone upon the bed, her face as pale as a corpse. Her arms were rough and wrinkled like rags shredded by countless blades.
The sheets and blankets, changed daily by servants, remained pristine without a single flaw. Yet that flawless white was now stained red.
Startled, Zieghart scanned the surroundings. The first thing that caught his eye was the shard of glass fallen beneath the woman’s hand. Next, he saw the shattered vase, utterly ruined.
Judging from her narrowed eyes and rapid breathing, Natasha didn’t seem entirely unconscious.
Yet her state was strange, as though she’d ingested some kind of drug. Her eyes lacked focus, and she showed no reaction whatsoever, even to loud noises.
The cold blood, having chilled earlier, now boiled hotly within him. His muscles swelled, and his whole body ached with stiffness.
“Call the physician—bring the personal physician at once!”
Zieghart shouted toward Meliana, who had brought the first-aid kit. Meliana hurriedly handed it over and rushed out again with quick, shuffling steps.

How could Natasha trust the Grand Duke when she knew he had made a deal with Zieghart ?!
I didn’t think Grand Duke Kshant had these intentions. It turned out that he was just as bad as Emperor Kail.
