“There’s been a lot of talk that Johanson Weber attended the exhibition because of Madam Schneider—is that true? How did the two of you first meet? What kind of person is Johanson Weber?”

At those words, everyone else instantly turned around. After all, Madam Schneider was just as much a topic of conversation as Johanson Weber himself.

Indeed, there probably wasn’t another noblewoman who appeared in the newspapers as frequently as she did.

“I heard this exhibition was Madam Schneider’s idea—is that true?”

“Is the Schneider family planning to enter the cultural sector?”

“Some critics have voiced negative opinions about your activities. As a woman, why are you entering a field traditionally reserved for men?”

Watching the reporters swarm like gnats, Christoph frowned, his brow furrowed. Damn it—he silently swallowed a curse just as he was about to speak.

“…….”

Marien grasped his arm. Christoph slowly turned his gaze toward her. Their eyes met, and Marien gave him a gentle smile. It meant, leave it to me.

Marien slowly stepped forward. The reporters parted to make way, and she came to stand before the booth. With practiced poise, she waited until the chaotic atmosphere settled.

She had learned this from Christoph. Silence would only strengthen her standing. When complete stillness finally fell over the crowd, Marien finally opened her mouth.

“Johanson Weber may indeed be a genius, as many critics claim. I was the one who recognized his talent.”

At Marien’s self-praise, the reporter at the front scratched his head with the tip of his pen. She gave a faint smile and continued.

“But why did no one recognize his talent until I did? A genius who appears only once in several decades.”
