I Beg Your Forgiveness (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 64
Florian, leaving the police station, stopped a passing omnibus with swift movements, contrary to his appearance. He extended a hand toward Marien.
“Please, get in, Marien.”
Swoosh.
Christoph stepped in front of him, offering his hand instead. “Aha.” Florian quickly withdrew his hand, catching on.
Marien glared at Christoph before climbing into the carriage alone. Christoph withdrew his hand with a bitter expression. He quietly clenched his fist. The hand that remembered her warmth felt unusually cold.
He boarded the carriage and sat next to Marien. As Florian, the last to board, sat across from them, the carriage set off as if it had been waiting.
The omnibus began heading toward Count Wolfgang’s estate. Marien looked out the left window, and Christoph gazed out the right.
Florian felt an inexplicable discomfort watching the two of them looking in opposite directions.
“As you both likely know, Count Wolfgang’s estate has long been in Blauberg…”
Trying to lighten the mood, he moved his lips but then closed his mouth. His gaze suddenly fell to the seat. Their pinky fingers were gently touching.
Faintly.
Yet, it was impossible not to notice their hands were touching.
“…”
Christoph didn’t entwine their fingers further, and Marien didn’t pull hers away harshly.
With their fingers lightly touching, as if a single sheet of paper lay between them, they continued looking out opposite windows.

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”
