“Yes.”

The expedition was over. Thanks to Ian’s quiet efforts, the hunting party had returned to the baronial stronghold faster than scheduled.

It had been so smooth—it almost felt wrong for it to end like this.

“Rosebelia, let’s go quickly.”

Vanessa suddenly leaned toward me and whispered in a low voice.

“Where to?”

“We need to soak in the bath. I’ll finally get a good night’s sleep tonight.”

Good night’s sleep? As far as I remembered, Vanessa always slept soundly.

I suppressed a faint smile and followed behind her. After soaking in the steaming bath and changing into fresh clothes, it finally began to sink in that the expedition was truly over.

“Lady Rosebelia, have you eaten?”

“I’m about to.”

“Enjoy your meal.”

“Oh, yes.”

I replied with a dazed expression and slowly looked around. Now that I thought about it, the castle had been gloomy before we left for the expedition, but today the atmosphere felt unusually lively.
