I Became a Supporting Character in a Martial Arts Novel (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 30
When I woke up, the ceiling I saw had changed.
‘…Is this the third time?’
Or maybe the fourth?
Since I hadn’t been awake long, my vision was still slightly blurry, but after staring at the ceiling for a while, I slowly realized where I was.
‘The Medical Pavilion.’
This was definitely the same room I’d stayed in last time when I’d collapsed from demonic possession. After taking a few slow breaths in and out, I faintly sensed the scent of medicinal herbs.
Only once I’d figured out my location did the inexplicable tension I’d been holding finally ease. My body felt unusually languid, yet the memories from just before I lost consciousness remained crystal clear.
I let out a quiet, hollow laugh to myself.
All the emotions that had shaken me seemed to have settled. Yet, perhaps because the aftermath hadn’t fully faded, a lingering sense of discomfort and unpleasantness still remained.
‘That sorcery…’
Well, they went and showed me something like that. In the end, I’d fallen right into my own trap and cracked my head open—so I suppose it worked out.
I rolled my eyes while testing my fingertips, which felt oddly numb. Thinking back on it, the sorcery had broken far too quickly—almost disappointingly so. I’d thought the caster was being disgustingly cunning, but in the end, it was nothing more than cheap trickery.

When scheming men desperately battle for her favor in the male harem

This one’s also on my reread list! The rivalry, scheming between the men in the imperial harem are just as intense and thrilling as in classic palace drama novels, where concubines fight to the death. Give it a read, girls! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Synopsis:
“I am not worthy of her… but I still want to be by her side, even if only as a loyal dog…”
Those were the painful whispers of Yue Guanyi – the proud Crown Prince of the Great Qi, who was torn between deep love and a guilty conscience. Despite holding the supreme power of the Imperial Guard, he still could not forget the dark past when he was sold into a brothel.
Fate played a cruel twist when Qiu Shuzhi – a young female official who had just passed the imperial examinations with top honors – stepped into his life. She did not know that she was the one who had saved him from a tragic fate many years ago. And now, her heart was the target of pursuit for both Yue Guanyi and the powerful Empress Dowager Qin Qing.
While Yue Guanyi only dared to silently care for and protect the one he loved from afar, the Empress Dowager Qin Qing openly expressed his feelings and did not hesitate to take advantage of his power to approach Qiu Shuzhi. The covert struggle between the two most powerful forces in the imperial court began…
Trigger warning: All men in this novel are yandere style.

Made me feel even more sorry for the original owner of this body.
True…I had a similar thought. It’s very heartbreaking to think about that she was actually controlled and commited suicide when we came to realization in the end
- Miririno Chapter 31 — Paragraph 53
There’s that junior disciple.
I think the address needs to be changed in a previous chapter where she was addressed as junior.
- Miririno Chapter 31 — Paragraph 85
It was as if a dam had suddenly burst open, flooding my mind with brilliant spar
That’s what I thought!!! The curse was actually hindering her talent

I think this novel doesnt really fit with the usual romance theme of this website. But that’s something I am actually very happy about 🙂
