I Became a Supporting Character in a Martial Arts Novel (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 18
At my sudden question, Senior Martial Brother remained silent for a few seconds, blinking his eyes, then slowly widened them as if finally understanding my words.
“…What?”
And then he cried out in astonishment.
“No, Junior Martial Sister. Seriously? Why? Everyone already knows you’re exceptionally talented—you’ve already mastered the Six Harmonies Sword, and you’re even learning the Jade Maiden Sword and Seven Plum Blossom Sword. I only meant I understood what you were worrying about, but surely no one’s going to bring up your admission again at this point? You could just leave it be, couldn’t you?”
For some reason, Senior Martial Brother seemed unusually anxious. But I was already convincing myself of my own words. Half-listening to him and letting his words pass through one ear and out the other, I kept thinking.
‘I thought time would resolve everything—and indeed, it seemed to have worked out that way. As Senior Martial Brother said, perhaps talk about my admission really has decreased unexpectedly. But “decreased” isn’t the same as “vanished,” and people might still harbor silent resentment in their hearts even if they don’t voice it aloud, right?’
I had once resolved not to care about others’ opinions.
Yet, if I could douse the embers early to prevent a possible wildfire, wouldn’t it be foolish not to do so?
Rather than letting the talk continue, wouldn’t it be better to take the exact same entrance examination as the new disciple who’s about to join, so everyone sees our situations as equal?
Wouldn’t it ease my mind to leave behind proof that I truly deserve my place?
“Junior Martial Sister, are you listening? Haheun?”
“But Senior Martial Brother, do you happen to know what form this entrance examination actually takes?”
“…Ah! Right—you don’t even know exactly how the entrance exam is conducted!”
Senior Martial Brother Ryu suddenly brightened and hurriedly explained, speaking faster than usual.
“Listen carefully. First, they accept children who wish to join for one day. Then, all those gathered that day undergo an initial screening at the mountain’s base. Over roughly a month, they undergo physical training while the sect assesses whether they have character flaws, health issues, illnesses, or other complications. Through this process, the group is reduced to about five hundred.”

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

Or was I wrong?
Either he is also a transmigrator or she truly misunderstood his character as protagonist. As readers we sometimes tend to look at characters on the surface level. Especially if the author doesn’t want us to look beyond or is unable to create enough depth for them to go beyond

I do wonder if she will manage to fulfill the others expectations or not. I have a feeling she is going to help the other boy and will arrive slower at the goal because of it

Sabaeck chuckled. He clearly didn’t believe me.
I am happy that she really seems to be well-liked by other members of the sect :=)

I feel complicated about her future fellow disciple. She could have had it easy but he is going to make it more difficult for her. I am sure of it
This part was interesting, especially the way everything was explained and master and haheun part is so cute. I wonder what will happen next.
