The waterfall-like sound of rushing water suddenly cut off.

The door clicked open, and Kyo Hwan stepped out of the bathroom, wearing a white bathrobe and trailing hazy steam behind him after his shower.

Whirr. Kyo Hwan turned on the hairdryer and began drying his hair in front of the mirror.

Huh. They say dreams reflect the unconscious.

Lying in bed, Hyo Jin let her eyes sweep over the seductively contoured chest of the grown man reflected in the mirror—visible through the gap in his bathrobe.

What would it feel like to be held in those broad arms?

Surely it would be incredibly warm and comforting?

His deep, unreadable eyes, sharp nose, and thin lips formed a face defined by delicate curves, with an Adam’s apple protruding just enough to confirm his masculinity.

Every time he tousled his hair with the dryer, the rich scent of pheromones vibrated all the way over to her.

Hmm… but could one really smell such an intense fragrance even in a dream?

As if drawn by the scent like a bee to a flower, Hyo Jin rose from the bed, leaned her head close to his back, and closed her eyes as if savoring it.

Kyo Hwan turned off the dryer and looked back.

At the sound, Hyo Jin opened her eyes—and for a moment, time seemed to stop. She heard nothing at all.

Indeed, time flowed differently for him alone, and his voice melted straight into Hyo Jin’s eardrums.

“Are you awake?”
