The hotel entrance where their first night together was scheduled.

Along the private driveway leading to the suite, red roses and white poppies swayed in the breeze as if welcoming the two of them.

Hyo Jin, seated in the back of Kyo Hwan’s limousine, rolled down the window and gazed at the scenery, breathing in the fresh floral scent as though she were in a dream.

“Wow, I still can’t believe it. We really did get married, right?”

Kyo Hwan, who had just welcomed the most beautiful bride in the world, couldn’t wipe the smile from his lips.

“I’ll make sure you feel it soon enough—just wait and see.”

Kyo Hwan stepped out through the rear door opened by a hotel staff member and extended his hand—adorned with a wedding ring—toward Hyo Jin.

As Hyo Jin took his hand and stepped out of the car, her body was suddenly lifted into the air.

“Oh! Father!”

Right in front of the hotel staff.

“How long are you going to keep calling me ‘Father’? People might get the wrong idea.”

The manager hurried after Kyo Hwan’s long strides toward their room, quickly opened the door, and bowed his head.

“Have a wonderful time.”

The door closed behind them. Still holding Hyo Jin, Kyo Hwan headed straight for the bedroom, gently seated her on the cloud-like mattress, and began unbuttoning his tuxedo.

Thud. Thump thump. Watching his jacket and vest rapidly shed onto the floor like discarded skin, Hyo Jin felt her heart constrict and lowered her long lashes.
