“Teacher~”
Just like a princess receiving a kiss from the prince, Seung Won lifted his long eyelashes from his dark eyes.
“Baby, are you okay? Can you open your eyes like this? Don’t you need to keep them shut?”
“I’m okay because teacher blew on it.”
As Seung Won’s lips curved up like a mischievous child, dimples sunk into his cheeks.
“Baby. Are you really sick?”
He came in because his eyes hurt. But he seems so fine?
“Ha, I was really sick while the teacher was gone.”
Seung Won laid down on the sickbed, his voice fading as if he was dying.
“Did you meet a good man?”

“What? A man?”
“Didn’t they say he’s a prosecutor, tall, and extremely handsome?”
“Oh, come on. Handsome.”
Since she always saw Baby and Daddy, her standards had gotten so high that he didn’t even catch her eye.
“Just you go show yourself to him without asking me.”
How dare? She had an expression as if she was going to see a cheating lover.
“Baby. Are you possibly jealous?”
“What do you mean by jealous.”
“But what’s it to you if I go show myself?”
“You should just keep looking at your lines. Why did you come to me?”

This one. She ran with her eyebrows fluttering and didn’t even say thank you.
“Why do you dislike Kang Hanna, the announcer, so much? Your stepmother is trying very hard to get close to you.”
“It’s not like dad and her are marrying because they are in love.”
“So you have to make her your enemy? She’s going to be your stepmother. You should try to win her over and wait for the right time.”
‘If a younger sibling is born, it will be the end.’
Hyo Jin, recalling Seung Joon’s mother’s words, promptly closed her mouth at the sound of the door opening and turned her head.
She thought it was either Kang Hanna the announcer or Min Ja Hyun, but it was Gyo Hwan.
“Did you go to see the line?”
“Huh?”
At the blatantly sarcastic tone, Hyo Jin’s face heated up.

“Did you go to see the script last time as well? Your outfit is the same as then.”
“No, that’s not it…”
Feeling wronged, Hyo Jin stood up from her seat, but as he approached, she involuntarily shrunk her shoulders under his pressure.
“Could you please clear the spot for a moment?”
As if he had something to say to Seung Won alone, Gyo Hwan who had sent Hyo Jin out, pulled the auxiliary chair closer and sat down.
“Are you okay?”
He had been worried until they arrived at the hospital in a car that his head felt like it was going to explode, but seeing that there was nothing wrong with him, Gyo Hwan felt his rationality returning.
“Dad. I think grandmother doesn’t like me getting along well with the teacher.”
“Why?”
“The teacher’s job is to teach me, but she keeps assigning her other tasks that aren’t workrelated. Aunt Hanna also sends the teacher on errands. If the teacher can’t prepare for class because of that, I’m the one who loses out.”

Seung Won, who had inherited the blood of his lawyer father, tried to approach it rationally rather than appeal to emotion.
Fortunately, this method seemed to work, and his father quickly accepted it without further questions.
“Okay. I’ll talk to grandmother.”
Outside Seung Won’s hospital room.
“I’m sorry for today’s incident. Let me apologize on behalf of my mother.”
“Huh?”
Hyo Jin, who had been tense, thinking she would hear a piece of his mind when Gyo Hwan came out, was flustered.
“In the future, there will be no unfair orders from my mother regarding anything other than teaching Seung Won. If there is such a case again, please contact me directly.”
Then he asked for her cell phone, rubbed his long and pale fingers, and entered his elevendigit number on the keypad.
“Thank you. For taking good care of our Seung Won.”

“Yes…?”
As if floating on the keys of a piano, Hyo Jin’s gaze was captivated by his delicate hand movements. She lifted her large eyes to look up at Gyo Hwan.
His face, usually stiff as gothic lettering, was now relaxed.
Wow. He could make such an expression?
Hyo Jin blinked her eyes in surprise, her words stuck in her throat.
“I was curious why the professor recommended you as a teacher, but seeing how well you get along with Seung Won, I think I understand a little.”
“Ah…”
“I’ll rely on you to take good care of our Seung Won in the future. Teacher Bong Hyo Jin.”
For the first time, he slowly pronounced her name, syllable by syllable.
Hyo Jin blushed shyly, as if she had turned into a single flower.

When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
