I Accidentally Imprinted On The Wolf Duke (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 90
How could he possibly not know someone lives in Elarion? There are already widespread rumors that Princess Charlotte returned after properly protesting the fact that you killed her only son. Does your conscience bother you at all?
I heard Princess Charlotte warned you never to show your face before her again. She even cursed you as a shameless beast that killed her husband and then her son.
Tuscan knew that killing his already defeated aunt in the royal succession struggle would only turn public opinion against him, so he reportedly endured all her fury, treated her with utmost respect, and sent her back.
In any case, judging by Tuscan’s current attitude, he seemed unaware of any other tiger shifters living in Elarion besides Princess Charlotte. Whether he was pretending ignorance or genuinely didn’t know remained unclear.
“To be honest, I recently visited Elarion. There, I met a woman, and strangely enough, I sensed the scent of a tiger shifter from her. If she truly were a tiger shifter, Your Majesty surely couldn’t be unaware, so I thought I’d ask—could she perhaps be a distant relative you know?”
Leina cut straight to the point without beating around the bush.
“Ha! The scent of a tiger shifter? Where in the world would a tiger shifter live outside of Tigrium? Could it be that your sense of smell is malfunctioning—maybe you’re actually a wolf shifter?”
Tuscan scoffed.
Did he really not know? He certainly seemed to be mocking her sincerely.
“Yes, that couldn’t possibly be. It must have been my mistake.”
“Well, it’s possible my aunt is indeed living somewhere in Elarion.”
Seeing Leina admit her error, Tuscan instantly relaxed his expression and spoke leisurely.
“Poor Klein. I heard he was murdered by thugs. To die so young—he was even younger than my own firstborn. If he’d been under my care, I’d have looked after him properly.”
Tuscan prattled on with feigned affection, as if he truly were a kindhearted cousin. The fact that this very man had sent the assassins against his younger cousin—who was even younger than his own first son—left even Leina, who rarely batted an eye at anything, utterly dumbfounded. Not because she feared Tuscan’s cruelty, but because his shamelessness was so absurd.
“Oh!”

Male lead is a Divorced Husband
She said to him: “Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change it!”

Liu Changning transmigrated into a female cannon fodder character in a female-dominant novel.
After reading the first half of the novel’s plot, the first thing she did upon transmigration was to divorce the Pan Jinlian-style male protagonist she had just married.
She indulged herself, pretending to be ugly and poor.
But as time passed, the way that man looked at her became more and more unusual…
Liu Changning was dumbfounded: Tell me, what makes you like me? I’ll change!

This lifetime, Pei Yuanshao was rejected by the same woman twice!
The first time, she drove him away. Forced by the situation, he endured the waves of anger in his heart, yielding and humbling himself.
That person lay slanted on a rocking chair, her sallow face emotionless: “If you don’t want a divorce, go cook!”
Pei Yuanshao’s face was dark and gloomy: “You!”
The second time, after the crisis in Jinling City was resolved, the new emperor sent someone to pick him up. He turned around, stammering: “I… I have to go. If you keep me…”
That person lay on the kang bed, her back to him, as if she had long anticipated this day, crisp and clear: “Goodbye!”
Pei Yuanshao was so angry his fingers trembled: “You… you!”
The mission of family and country made him restrain himself, averting his eyes and turning to leave this broken household.
Two years later, they met again. Seeing her ethereal face, his body shook like a sieve.
“She was originally a ‘she’!”
At the Qionglin Banquet, the top scholar of the imperial examination, a talented person with exceptional speech and conduct, all the unmarried young gentlemen from aristocratic families looked at her with shy and timid eyes.
The peerless imperial official Pei Yuanshao felt the anger in his heart erupt. He pointed at the woman surrounded by the crowd at the Qionglin Banquet, his thin lips slightly curled: “Little sister, I wants that person to be the wife-master of my Mingde Prince Manor.”

Dang. I held a slight hope that once Leina let all the pieces together, that she might help Chloe usurp the throne and be her friend. But nope. She’s way to greedy and prejudiced towards tiger beastkin and thinks the Duke belongs to herself only. What an evil woman
I can’t stand Carcus. I haven’t liked him since the beginning and I haven’t been able to pinpoint why. But it might be his audacity in how he thinks he knows best for Chloe’s life. Her mother has that same attitude and it angers me greatly.
Honestly? I hope Chloe recovers quickly and makes her own escape. Maybe turn into her tiger form and flee? And she can claim that she was raised as a human and didn’t realize it was “breaking the treaty” to transform around humans.
