Carcus Traskan showed no particular concern about the lion beastmen being revealed to the world and simply left the rest of the beastman races to decide their stance through the council or individually as they saw fit.

The emperor appeared utterly indifferent to the fate of the beastmen and had not shown himself since the incident.

Duke Ulphaz also took no official position and simply returned to his ducal territory with the princess of Tigrium, whom he had been detaining under the pretext of imperial protection.

Since the parties involved showed neither remorse nor willingness to take responsibility—and because they were the strongest—ultimately the beastmen could reach no decision and simply let time pass in confusion.

Yet paradoxically, their inaction ended up calming the chaos and disorder.

With no official collective statement or action from the beastmen, and since both the emperor and the duke continued to perform their administrative duties flawlessly, ordinary people came to accept that beastmen might exist only within the Elion imperial family and House Ulphaz, or perhaps elsewhere, but that it did not greatly affect their lives. Naturally, the rumors died down.

The beastmen considered themselves fortunate that public interest had faded on its own and realized that saying nothing had, in the end, been the best response.
