As Allen had said, the weekend outing turned out to be more enjoyable than expected.

When Allen recklessly touched a magical artifact and caused Nigel’s hand to turn transparent, he obediently offered his back to Nigel’s translucent hand.

While on their way to lunch, Nigel got separated from the group and stumbled upon an old bookstore by chance, where he picked up a few good books at a bargain price.

Allen and Noah, who later found Nigel, also bought a few books. The elderly shopkeeper quickly handed Allen a glass of water after he coughed from dust stirred up by flipping through books carelessly.

Since it was neither the right time nor distance to reach their originally planned restaurant, the group simply walked wherever their feet led them and entered a place that looked decent.

The moment they tasted the food, all three nodded in unison—it was the birth of a hidden gem known only to them.

“Ah, today was fun, wasn’t it?”

Standing before a fountain glowing red in the sunset, the three each bought and ate an ice cream.

“Yeah… except for my hand turning transparent.”

Pfft. Noah’s laughter reached Nigel’s ears.

“I already said I was sorry! That’s why I let you hit my back. Hey Noah, once we get back to the dorm, check if there’s a bruise on my back. Ask Nigel to donate some healing-offering to the temple for me.”

“Understood.”

Noah nodded with a gentle smile.
