Nigel muttered, pressing her face into the floor.

Just then, warmth suddenly touched her cheek. Startled by the unexpected contact, she lifted her head to see Allen beaming brightly.

“Is it because you’ve gotten smaller? Even saying something like this sounds cute now. Right, Noah?”

Noah gently nodded and raised his hand, placing it softly atop Nigel’s shrunken head.

In the blink of an eye, both of Nigel’s cheeks and the crown of her head were invaded. Unbothered by Nigel’s stiff expression, the two happily fussed over her soft cheeks and tousled hair, grinning broadly.

“Do you two even hear what I’m saying? Why did you take such a dangerous risk?”

Allen slowly pulled his hand away from Nigel’s cheek and looked straight down at her.

“We came here to see you.”
