The night was shrouded in deep darkness.

The Prince Gwang Ho unit, where the soldiers were asleep, echoed only with the sound of crickets chirping.

If there was anything different from usual, it was that sentries had suddenly appeared in front of the food storage warehouse.

At a distance from the warehouse, the shadows of Gap Dol and Chun Chul pacing around could be seen.

Gap Dol stared at the sentries standing in front of the warehouse from afar, as if keeping watch. Soon, as if annoyed, he roughly scratched his head and grumbled.

“What the hell, why are there suddenly sentries that weren’t there before?”

Chun Chul, standing beside Gap Dol, chimed in with a worried tone.

“Could it be that they found out we raided the warehouse?”

“Have we only raided it once or twice? If we were going to get caught, we would’ve been caught long ago.”

Gap Dol acted like it was no big deal, but he was just as anxious.

Thinking about the supplies he wouldn’t be able to embezzle anymore made bitter bile rise in his throat.

Gap Dol smacked his lips regretfully and said.

“Tsk, does that mean raiding the warehouse is now forcibly off-limits?”

“Well, we’ve eaten plenty so far. I’m satisfied.”

“True. And lately we’ve seen some pretty amusing sights too.”
