Not long after Deborah left, Cedric and Todd arrived.

Soon after the maid came in to light the fire, leaving only three people, Todd began to recap the events of his recent business trip.

“It’s progressing smoothly.”

Cedric nodded his head, contemplating the upcoming tasks. The things to be done now were more demanding than before. It was like a task that could only be achieved when all the gears meshed perfectly.

The three of them checked documents and exchanged opinions until the night turned into dawn. When the tasks they needed to confirm for the day were more or less sorted out, Todd stood up.

“Well, then, I’ll go first.”

“Sure, don’t come back until I call you. Rest.”

Todd nodded and left.

“I answered, but aren’t you going to rest?”
