Even if Your Regret Holds Me Back (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 150
Right after Helena left, Butler Gordon reluctantly knocked on the door to Eugene’s reception room.
Considering Eugene’s current state, his feet wouldn’t easily move—but something urgent needed reporting.
Gordon first tested the mood by handing over his usual stack of documents and agendas. Fortunately—or oddly enough—Eugene appeared calmer than expected.
Swallowing hard once, Gordon pulled out the main matter from his coat and placed it on the desk.
“Shall I handle this quietly?”
“…….”
Despite Gordon’s cautious question, Eugene remained silent. He simply leaned back in his chair, holding the photograph Gordon had brought and staring at it.
Tap, tap, tap. The rhythmic sound of his index finger tapping the desk filled the space—then abruptly stopped. Eugene’s gaze finally lifted from the photograph.
He tossed the photo onto the desk and ordered Gordon,
“Double the amount I requested and have it delivered daily.”
“……Yes?”
“It doesn’t matter if the headlines are sensational. The more the rumors become truth, the greater my gain.”
With a curt nod, Eugene made it clear he wouldn’t repeat himself. Instead of asking further, Gordon retrieved the photograph once more. In the brief moment he tucked it back into his coat, his reluctant gaze swept over the figures in the image.
In a shadowy garden, deserted in the dead of night, the couple meeting in secret were Grand Duke Evergale and the Grand Duchess.
Judging by the surroundings, the photo was likely taken during the ball of the recent hunting tournament. It was nighttime and captured from a distance, so the image wasn’t perfectly clear.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead

Helena will definitely ask for help with the divorce.
The thoughts hovering in Ian’s mind are very normal. The problem is that Helena took a long time to give up love for Eugene.
I was quite surprised too, I thought he was Ian’s age.
