Ensnared by the Trap (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 16
Kyle appeared alone in front of Se Hee and Jung Yeon, who were waiting for the two people who had just finished their match.
“Hello. I’m Jin Jung Yeon. You speak Korean really well.”
The outgoing Jung Yeon looked at Kyle and offered a handshake first.
But Kyle didn’t even glance at her.
“Seems like you still have something to say.”
Kyle’s gaze was directed solely at Se Hee.
“Yes? Yes. This is Kyle Graham. He’s on board the cruise for business at the port of call.”
When Jung Yeon made a bewildered expression, Se Hee quickly stepped in to mediate.
However, Kyle didn’t budge an inch.
Instead, his brow furrowed as if he were displeased.
“Aha. I see. So you left our Sung Jae behind? Then I guess I’ll have to go pick him up.”
Jung Yeon, overwhelmed by Kyle’s atmosphere, tactfully excused herself.
After Jung Yeon disappeared, Se Hee scolded Kyle.
“Why are you being like that? She was greeting you.”
“Why should I have to accept that greeting?”
Kyle tilted his head arrogantly.
“When someone greets you, it’s only polite to respond with who you are and exchange greetings. And you’re someone who does business…”
“Enough! I want an answer to my question.”
Kyle cut off Se Hee’s words with a single command.
“First of all, really! I thought about it all night without sleeping, but I still can’t remember what mistake I made. A hint? Can’t you give me one?”
Se Hee cautiously glanced at Kyle.
He let out a scoffing laugh.
“A hint…”
Kyle, now seated at the bar, stared intently at Se Hee as if deep in thought, then slowly took a sip of the punch prepared on the table.
Even when he wore a shirt, his throat wasn’t completely hidden, but now that he had coolly taken off his top, the movement of his Adam’s apple as he swallowed stood out strikingly.
Feeling a strange sensation, Se Hee cleared her throat for no reason and quickly drank her punch as well.
A sweet fruity aroma spread thickly in her mouth.
“Cha Hyun Joon.”
The moment Kyle said that name, Se Hee froze like a statue, a chill running through her.
All sorts of scenarios were playing out in her head.
She surely hadn’t caused a huge scene, right?
How on earth did he know that name, and why was he claiming he remembered nothing?
Se Hee’s face soon turned tearful.
“…I’ll admit it first. Anything. So… could you please forget about that day?”
They say it’s better to take the beating quickly.
Se Hee, having swiftly admitted her fault, spoke to Kyle almost pleadingly.
“If it’s that serious, instead of me trying to guess, it would be faster if you just told me what you want…”
Resigned, Se Hee lowered her head.
“Whatever I want? You’re sure that’s okay?”
Kyle’s eyes darkened subtly as they fixed on Se Hee.
“W-Well… within reasonable limits?”
Se Hee said tensely.
“Name.”
“Yes? Lee Se Hee.”
Why is he asking when he already knows?
Se Hee looked at Kyle with a puzzled expression.
“Kyle. I’ll allow you to call me that.”
Kyle’s leisurely gaze slowly turned to Se Hee.
“Yes? Do I really need permission for that? Ah, sure. Fine. Se Hee. I’ll allow you to call me that too.”
Se Hee playfully mimicked Kyle.

“Se Hee.”
“Yes.”
“Good.”
The corners of Kyle’s mouth lifted slightly.
“That’s it? Really? For real? Wow, your personality is way better than I expected.”
Se Hee said in disbelief and surprise.
“As expected… too easy?”
“No, not exactly easy, but…”
Feeling like she had said something unnecessary, Se Hee smiled awkwardly and waved her hands.
“From now on, let’s do the next day’s schedule report during dinner time.”
“Yes? Schedule report? My—Lee Se Hee’s schedule report?”
As Se Hee repeated the question, Kyle nodded.
Kyle stared intently at Se Hee.
The way she looked at him in surprise was incredibly stimulating.
For some strange reason, she kept provoking his nerves.
He couldn’t even avoid looking at her.
When she was out of sight, he only became more obsessed.
Without realizing it, he had been persistently searching for Se Hee.
Until he could confirm her with his own eyes.
It was extremely difficult to adjust to this undeniable yet unfamiliar emotion.
“Every evening at dinner, report the next day’s schedule. You know when Francois opens, right? Don’t be late.”
“E-Every day?”
Se Hee’s expression darkened.
If she had to report her schedule every dinner, did that mean they would have dinner together every night from now on?
And this man only used private rooms, not regular restaurants.
If it was every day, how much would dinner cost?
Se Hee couldn’t even begin to imagine the enormous amount.
But she had sinned, so she couldn’t refuse.
“…Fine. But that private room is a bit too much for me, so I can’t treat you there often. I’ll mostly use the buffet, so please understand that.”
“I never asked you to pay for the meals.”
Kyle looked down at Se Hee arrogantly.
“Yes?”
“What I want is your time, Se Hee.”
Kyle’s innate arrogance somehow looked elegant.
For a moment, Se Hee’s heart fluttered strangely.
The ticklish, odd energy near her heart made her finish the punch in her hand completely.
“It’s weak alcohol, but if you drink it like that, you’ll get drunk.”
His hand gently moving her glass aside out of concern only deepened the color of the emotions Se Hee was feeling.
The sudden rush of heat was far too dangerous.
Unable to hold back any longer, Se Hee shot up from her seat.
“T-Tomorrow’s schedule is shopping all day and participating in all the programs on board. Tomorrow and the day after, I plan to keep so busy that I won’t have time to think about anything.”
Se Hee blurted everything out in one breath.
Because staying with him any longer felt like it would lead to something big.
“Is that so?”
Kyle’s eyebrows shot up at the sudden schedule report.
“Yes. Well then, I had a good night.”
“Where are you going?”
Kyle’s dissatisfied voice stopped Se Hee in her tracks.
At that moment, the emotions Se Hee had barely been holding together overflowed and crossed the line.
Turning back with a flushed face, Se Hee looked at Kyle with an odd expression.

His attractive body, proudly showing off well-developed muscles, strongly stirred selfish desires in the slightly drunk Se Hee.
“I’m warning you, it’s better not to hold me back right now.”
“What?”
Kyle’s brow furrowed.
Se Hee slowly approached Kyle with a suggestive gaze.
She gently placed a single finger on Kyle’s smoothly glowing shoulder.
Her finger slowly slid down over his chest muscles to the center of his heart.
The moment she touched his body in her crazy intoxication, Se Hee felt like her heart would burst.
But running away awkwardly now would only make things more embarrassing.
So she had no choice but to finish it off as if she had meant to seduce him all along.
“…If you hold me back now, it might really become dangerous.”
Stopping her moving finger, Se Hee quietly whispered into Kyle’s ear.
Flustered, Kyle unknowingly held his breath.
“Then see you tomorrow evening. There, right?”
Se Hee quickly turned and left Kyle behind.
“Ha.”
A small sigh escaped through Kyle’s teeth.
To think he got nervous from such clumsy, ridiculous touches.
An absurd laugh burst out of him.

The alarm rang noisily.
Se Hee opened her eyes with difficulty, looking exhausted, and checked the time.
She had vowed to do cool yoga overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with the fresh morning sunlight at her back.
But she had unnecessarily signed up for the early morning yoga program.
Having barely slept all night, Se Hee couldn’t get up.
She still couldn’t shake off the sensation from last night that lingered on her fingertips.
The moment Kyle had looked down at her intently, she had wanted to touch him so badly.
That body like a marble statue… so tempting… that…
Argh!
Se Hee grabbed her hair and wailed.
She had finally realized another side of herself.
Lee Se Hee, unable to control her boiling instincts and filled with lewd emotions.
I, Lee Se Hee, am a Confucian girl from the Republic of Korea!
Kyle. This is your fault.
Who told you to look like that?
After kicking the blanket in frustration for a while, Se Hee finally emerged from her room with a haggard face.
Yoga was already too late, so after a simple meal, Se Hee headed to the shopping center on deck 5.
As expected from the luxurious top-class cruise of Evans Shipping Company, the shopping center was filled with luxury boutiques.
“No way. I can buy things too. Let’s just go look.”
A bitter feeling washed over her, but Se Hee decided not to be discouraged.
A luxury dress? Whatever, I’ll just buy one.
With confident steps, she entered a store bearing the logo of a famous luxury brand.
“Hello, dear customer. What kind of product are you looking for?”
A female staff member wearing white gloves stuck close to Se Hee’s side.
“I’d like to see some dresses suitable for the event parties.”
Se Hee said calmly.
“This way, please. You didn’t bring enough outfits, right? Many guests come to buy more. Our Decora Ho has quite a lot of parties, after all. Are you enjoying your trip?”
The staff member kindly guided Se Hee while chatting.
“Yes, of course.”
In truth, she had only attended two events so far.

“How about this design?”
The staff member showed a silk dress with subtle silver pearl accents.
“It’s really pretty.”
Se Hee loved the dress too.
But the wicked price tag she glanced at instantly made her fold her enthusiasm.
The staff recommended several other designs as well, but due to her budget, Se Hee regretfully chose just one of them.
She thought even this single dress was luxurious enough.
Stopping by the bar for a cool drink to change her mood, Se Hee discovered the wedding event entry box that Jung Yeon had mentioned.
“Have you entered yet?”
A staff member approached Se Hee, who had been eyeing the box, with a smile.
“Ah, no.”
“Would you like to? It closes in an hour. The drawing is tonight at midnight.”
After hearing the staff, Se Hee hesitated for a moment.
At first she had no interest, but now there was someone she wanted to write down.
He had allowed her to use his name, after all.
It should be fine to consider writing it as permitted too, right?
With five thousand passengers, almost everyone probably entered.
The chances of winning were practically zero anyway.
“Okay.”
Smiling brightly, Se Hee received an entry form and pen from the staff.
After writing her name and Kyle’s, she carefully folded it and placed it into the capsule the staff had given her.
“Thank you. Good luck!”
The staff member smiled kindly as she took the capsule from Se Hee.
Se Hee smiled back and turned away.
Luck, huh.
Would that kind of luck come to me?
The ticklish feeling brought strange thoughts again, and Se Hee quickly walked away.
Se Hee had no idea that after she turned around, the capsule went not into the entry box but into the staff member’s pocket.

Knowing Se Hee’s schedule, Kyle deliberately added a shopping center inspection to his own itinerary.
Since she had attended the late-night event party, she should be here around now.
As Kyle predicted, Se Hee appeared at the center entrance.
Stopping his steps so she wouldn’t notice, Kyle quietly watched her.
Se Hee spent quite a long time in the first store, but when she came out, she only carried one meager shopping bag.
‘Just that?’
After Se Hee left the store, Kyle entered the same one.
“Good afternoon, President.”
“What did the customer who just left purchase?”
The store staff reported in detail not only what Se Hee had bought but also the dress she had liked most and everything she had looked at.
“Dave. Deliver these.”
Without hesitation, Kyle purchased everything the staff had mentioned and handed them straight to Dave.
“Sigh… President. This is a bit much.”
“There are a lot of events, aren’t there? How about a special event for a solo female traveler?”
Kyle said as if it were perfectly fitting.
“Yes?”
Dave asked back, dumbfounded.
“Handle it appropriately and send them.”
“…Sigh. Understood.”
Although his chest felt tight, Dave couldn’t disobey his boss’s orders.
Kyle finished inspecting the shopping center and returned to his office.

But Captain Marcus was waiting in front of the door.
“President.”
He called Kyle with a serious expression.
“What is it?”
“There’s something I need to discuss.”
Captain Marcus’s brow furrowed deeply as he let out a heavy sigh.
“Come in.”
With Kyle’s permission, Marcus entered the office together.
“I know very well that you don’t believe in superstitions. But just this once, please listen to my opinion—no, the opinion of every crew member on this ship.”
Since Kyle already knew full well what Marcus was getting at, his head was already starting to feel heavy.
“Room 1305. That guest has entered the wedding event.”
Captain Marcus said with an extremely serious face.
The wedding event?
Startled, Kyle looked at Marcus.
“As you know, the drawing is at midnight tonight, and the event will be held tomorrow. Coincidentally, that day matches that guest’s D-Day.”
“D-Day?”
Kyle’s eyebrow twitched.
“Yes, the date written on the wedding invitation that guest had.”
Marcus emphasized strongly.
Kyle remembered that Dave had also mentioned that D-Day.
Cha Hyun Joon.
Wasn’t that his wedding day?
“President. I beg you. That guest from room 1305 must win the wedding event. So that she can have a happy day filled with everyone’s blessings without any worries.”
Captain Marcus said with a resolute expression.
“At this point, when even the first sailing day passed without incident, why bring that up again?”
Kyle frowned uncomfortably.
“The first person who jumped from the Zaina Ho did not choose that day simply because it was the first sailing day, President.”
Captain Marcus said meaningfully.
Kyle’s gaze sharpened as he looked at the captain.
“From what I know, the day that woman threw herself into the sea was the wedding day of her former fiancé who had broken off their engagement.”
At Captain Marcus’s words, the surroundings suddenly became silent as if cold water had been poured over them.
“If she had received someone’s comfort that day, if there had been even one person by her side, perhaps that horrible thing would never have happened.”
Captain Marcus said with sincere eyes.
“The Decora Ho on its maiden voyage is important, but to me as captain, there is nothing more important than saving the lives of passengers.”
The captain approached Kyle with a determined expression.
And carefully took something out of his inner pocket.
“I beg you. President.”
