She planned to first visit Mykonos’ landmarks, the windmills, and Little Venice.
“Be careful with your camera.”
A crew member reminded her as she disembarked from the shuttle.
“Yes, thank you.”
Sehee smiled warmly at the kind crew member and eagerly headed towards the windmills.
Wow!
The five windmills of Kato Mili, lined up prettily, greeted her.
The blue sea and sky behind the windmills complemented each other perfectly.
Every random shot seemed like a piece of art.
Should I just settle here?

The thought of not returning to the complexities of Korea crossed her mind, such was the overwhelming beauty.
Sehee happily gazed at the cool Aegean Sea.
So blue.
Truly blue.
That man’s eyes also seemed to have a hint of blue.
‘Can you handle it?’
Yikes.
What am I thinking?
Why does he come to mind while looking at the sea?
Sehee shook her head and headed towards the downtown alleys.

A decision she soon regretted.
Is this a maze?
Sehee found herself unable to escape the intricate network of alleys.
In South Korea, Sehee was notoriously known for her lack of sense of direction, so much that she would be embarrassed to be second.
“Damn it. I’m screwed.”
Then.
“Hey, kid. Hand over the bag.”
Suddenly, a familiar sound of Korean language reached her ears.
And immediately after, a foreign man sprinted into the alley where Sehee was, at a terrifying speed.
“Move!”
For a brief moment, Sehee caught sight of the bag the man was holding. It was a brand commonly seen in Korea.

Pretending to press herself against the wall, Sehee sneakily stuck out her foot.
With a series of thuds, the man tripped over Sehee’s leg and fell to the ground.
‘That must’ve hurt.’
Pretending not to notice the fallen man, Sehee quickly picked up the distant bag.
The man, getting up hastily, approached Sehee with a menacing look.
“Hey! You thief. You’re caught. I’ll show you the taste of Taekwondo from South Korea.”
Just then, a well-built Korean man with tanned skin and a stern expression hurried into the alley towards Sehee.
The size difference was noticeable, so the thief, fiercely glaring at Sehee for a moment, soon took to his heels.
“Are you the owner of this bag?”
Sehee asked the man.
“Oh, you’re from Korea?”
“Yes.”
“Aha. Even here, help from a fellow countryman. Thank you. I am Bae Sungjae, a friend of the bag’s owner.”
“A friend?”
Before Sehee could finish her sentence, a woman in short shorts and wavy long hair hurriedly entered the alley.
“There, panting… Did you catch him? Panting…”
The woman, breathless and hardly able to speak, was clearly exhausted.
“Of course. Bae Sungjae always catches them. Though I did get a little help.”
Sungjae winked at Sehee.
“Here.”

Sehee handed over the bag she was holding to the woman.
“Thank you. You’re Korean, right?”
“Yes. I just happened to help.”
Sehee smiled brightly.
“You’re my lifesaver. Everything I own is in this bag. My name is Jin Jungyeon.”
“Nice to meet you. I’m Lee Sehee, traveling alone.”
With their impromptu introductions, Sehee also greeted them with a smile.
“Well, now that we’ve introduced ourselves, let’s go have a delicious cup of coffee. My treat.”
Following Sungjae’s suggestion, the three of them headed to a nearby quaint cafe.
The cute cafe was full of tourists.

“Wow. We’re the same age.”
Upon hearing Sehee’s reply to Jungyeon’s question about their age, Sungjae was delighted.
“Then shall we drop formalities from now? Why is our Sehee traveling alone?”
Sungjae leaned in flirtatiously, his eyes twinkling.
Just then, a dull, heavy sound echoed from the back of Sungjae’s head.
“Hey! That’s so burdensome, you know? Gonna break your head?”
Jungyeon glared at Sungjae, her eyes narrowed in annoyance after hitting him on the head.
“Ouch.”
Sungjae held his sore head.
“We came on the cruise ship anchored out there. How about you, Sehee?”

Despite his discomfort, Sungjae still asked Sehee with a sticky look.
“Huh? Me too. I came on that one, the DecoNa.”
Sehee exclaimed in surprise.
“Really? How come we didn’t see you? There weren’t many Koreans.”
Jungyeon seemed surprised by Sehee’s reply.
“My goodness. This must be destiny. Destiny!”
Sungjae closed his eyes and dramatically placed his hand on his heart.
“Cut it out, will you? I’ll make sure you meet your destiny today.”
Jungyeon shot back, clearly annoyed.
“Did you two come together on the cruise?”

“Oh, no. Don’t get the wrong idea. We’re staying in separate rooms.”
Jungyeon quickly answered Sehee’s question.
“I’m just too nice. A sucker, you know, the usual.”
Sungjae nodded his head and melodramatically touched his forehead as if feeling sorry for himself.
“Hey, speak properly. It was sent by your uncle, wasn’t it?”
Jungyeon exclaimed, sounding annoyed.
“Anyway, I asked for it, and my father sent it. So, it’s thanks to me.”
“Do you have any idea how much I suffered because of that past incident you dug up? And when did I ever say I wanted to go on a cruise, huh?”
Jungyeon waved her finger at Sungjae in disbelief.
“Well, if he’s sending us on a trip, why not a Mediterranean cruise, which is even better than the one he went to in Alaska? Ah… By the way, her father and our father are close.”
Sungjae added.
“What? This guy, seriously.”
Jungyeon grabbed and shook Sungjae’s collar.
Watching their playful banter, Sehee could guess how their journey had started.
The trip back to Mykonos with the entertaining duo was full of laughter.
“We’ve booked a grand dinner at Francois on the 21st floor. Would you like to join us, Sehee?”
Back on the DecoNa, at the entrance where they were about to part ways to their rooms, Sungjae asked.
“Yeah, let’s do it. It must have been hard to dine alone.”
Jungyeon also invited Sehee.
The Francois Restaurant on the DecoNa was also on Sehee’s list of must-visit places.
“Then I happily accept your invitation.”

Sehee answered cheerfully.
Having finished his field research in Mykonos, Kyle was heading to the private room of the Francois Restaurant to wrap up business talks with the delegation.
Just as he entered the gallery leading to the restaurant’s entrance, he spotted a familiar figure admiring the paintings.
It was Sehee, in a light pink dress, her neck adorned with the pearl necklace shining brilliantly.
He had chosen it thinking it would suit her size, and his expectation was right on the mark.
The necklace on Sehee’s slender neck enhanced her beauty.
A satisfied smile briefly crossed Kyle’s lips.
Just as Kyle was about to approach Sehee,
“Sehee.”
A strange man’s voice halted Kyle’s steps.

The man who called Sehee’s name approached her with a friendly smile.
At that moment, Kyle’s brows furrowed, standing still.
An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:

2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
