Ending The Extra Villainess's Unrequited Love! (7 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 7
“Here it is!”
Diana introduced the room with an excited voice.
It was a well-lit spot at the end of the second-floor corridor. A wooden bed, a desk, a nightstand, and a wardrobe.
Though it was a simple space with nothing particularly noteworthy, it was spacious enough for a ten-year-old child living alone.
‘After all, I resolved not to overdo things in this life.’
In the past, she would have instantly offered a room fit for a noble’s heir, dismissing even this as too shabby—but now, she wanted to avoid burdening Raoul in any way.
“Honestly, young master is just too kind.”
Angela muttered, pressing her lips together as if the room were too grand for someone like a mere slave.
Diana poked Angela’s side with her finger, giving her a sharp look that clearly meant “Please, stop.”
‘Ugh.’
“How about it? It seems fine for you to use alone, but if anything’s missing, I’ll bring in more furniture.”
“…This is more than enough.”
Raoul hadn’t spoken a single word the entire way from the training grounds to his room.
Diana desperately wanted to shower him with affectionate coos, but managed to clamp her mouth shut.
‘I’m just dust—cosmic dust.’
She intended to minimize all contact with Raoul from now on, watching over him only from afar.
‘That’s the best path for all of us.’
“Here, take this.”
Diana handed Raoul a sheet of paper and a quill.
“If you ever need anything from now on, just write it down and leave it with your meals.”
Raoul said nothing, merely gazing quietly at Diana.
Ahem… How awkward. Diana set the items on the desk and turned to him with an uneasy smile.
“About… the lessons. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you.”
Ellen was a loyal retainer of the ducal house, but infamous for his rough treatment of soldiers.
Lost in worry, Diana stayed silent—and in return, received a barrage of icy glares.
‘Look at me, losing it like this.’
Raoul, looking disheveled and displeased, stared at Diana with clear annoyance.
“I-I’ll be going now!”
Diana hurriedly dashed back to Angela’s side. Just as she flung open the bedroom door and began to flee, her body suddenly froze.
‘Oh, right. I should say this.’
“We’re both on the second floor, but the corridor curves so much we’ll hardly ever bump into each other….”
Raoul’s expression, hearing this, was perplexed.
His eyes bore into her with a persistent, almost animal-like suspicion, probing as if examining some strange, untrustworthy creature.
Within them, dark suspicion swelled, coiled tightly like a puffed-up beast.
Just as she turned to leave, abandoning the silent Raoul behind, he murmured quietly.
“…You’re really weird.”
*Sigh.* So once again, in this life too, she’d been branded as a strange woman.
[This is the timeline separator]“How can someone be so stiff without knowing their place?”
Angela exploded the moment they stepped out of the room.
“Angela, that’s enough…”
At times like this, she needed to be stopped—even by force, if necessary.
She was an excellent aide, but utterly ruthless toward anyone who posed even the slightest threat to Diana.
Angela was the one person in the world who despised Raoul most—despite his status as the mansion’s idol ever since he’d grown up.
If one had to put a label on it, she was his most extreme anti-fan.
“Why do you dislike Raoul so much, Angela?”
Diana looked up at Angela walking beside her and asked.
“…There’s no reason to like him! If a pretty young lady like you says she likes him, he should be turning cartwheels! Instead, he just glares arrogantly like that.”
Honestly, from start to finish, it was the kind of remark only a villain’s friend would make—and completely devoid of any objectivity toward the young lady she served.
Diana shook her head wryly and let out a sigh tinged with laughter.

‘What a handful you are.’ Still, it didn’t upset her.
In fact, it made her heart feel strangely tender…
‘Angela really only ever thinks about me.’
Rubbing her nose with feigned annoyance, she suddenly spotted a familiar man turning the corner at the end of the corridor.
He lifted the corners of his mouth in a bright smile and gave a slight bow.
His fluffy, light-brown hair resembled spilled mocha whipped cream, and his emerald-green eyes made him strikingly handsome.
“My lady, it’s been a while.”
Though his greeting was directed at Diana, his eyes remained fixed on Angela.
‘His name’s Vincent, right?’
Diana remembered seeing him often before.
Back then too, his obvious crush on Angela had sparked a sense of camaraderie more than once.
As the man grinned broadly, the soft winter sunlight seemed to brighten even further.
Despite clearly being a large, sturdy knight, his gentle expression—like a golden retriever—carried not a trace of arrogance.
‘What do you call a man like him again…?’
What was it? Diana was lost once more in her private murmuring.
Seizing the chance, the man quickly asked Angela how she’d been.
“Have you been well? The weather’s been so cold—I was worried…
…that you might catch a chill or something.”
“Ah~ Can’t you see these thick, strong arms? What’s there to worry about?”
“W-Well, if it’s alright with you, perhaps I could lend you a scarf…?”
“No! Ugh, why have you always been like this? Both gloves and scarves—I get new ones from my lady every winter, you know?”
Vincent was just about to make a second attempt at persuading her when—
“Oh! Bagel Guy!”
Diana suddenly blurted out the phrase as clearly as if doused by a refreshing waterfall.
Both of them stared at her, eyes wide in surprise.
“…My lady, are you craving bagels?”
“…No, it’s just… Vincent’s hair color looks like a bagel…”
Too embarrassed to face them, Diana buried her face in Angela’s skirt.
Angela, looking down at her, let out a pained groan as if suffering a great shock—then walked straight past Vincent as though he didn’t exist.
Flustered, Vincent quickly called out to her retreating back.
“I’ll be staying in the castle for a while! His Lordship offered me the position of deputy commander!”
Angela’s expression turned sour.
*What am I supposed to do about that?*
Her silent, palpable coldness made Diana feel awkward on her behalf.
Since Angela wouldn’t even glance back, Diana raised her thumb in Vincent’s direction instead.
‘You’re the best, Vincent!’
Vincent bowed gratefully, his face lit with touched delight.
Seeing him like that reminded Diana painfully of her own self before the regression.
“Honestly, does she have no manners at all? How can she shout like that in front of a young lady…?”
“I think I understand why she acts that way.”
Angela untangled a strand of Diana’s hair she’d twisted, pouting as she grumbled.
Diana couldn’t fathom why Angela disliked everything Vincent did.
To anyone else, he was undeniably an adorably puppy-like handsome man.
By now, other maids would likely be frantically throwing glances his way, desperate for even the smallest connection—but she showed no interest whatsoever.
Come to think of it, in her previous life too, Angela had ignored Vincent and ended up with someone like Ellen.
Not a handsome beastman—but an actual beast of a man.
Just as Angela despised Raoul, Diana despised Ellen.
‘A goblin-like brute who treats Angela roughly.’
She was one hundred percent on Vincent’s side.
“This winter, maybe we should let Vincent prepare your cold-weather gear.”

“No! Absolutely not!”
“Ugh, you’re so stubborn.”
Diana gently pinched Angela’s side—just enough to tease, not hurt.
Angela dramatically swooned as if even that tiny pinch were unbearably cute.
The sight was both funny and heartwarming, and a childish giggle burst from Diana’s lips.
[This is the timeline separator]And so passed peaceful days.
Or so she had believed.
“You knew about this too, Angela?”
Her voice was ice-cold—completely devoid of warmth or laughter.
Angela couldn’t even meet her eyes, fidgeting nervously and twirling her fingers.
“I… I didn’t know he’d be treated so harshly.”
Raoul had been hurt. Raoul, whom she’d believed had been living comfortably for the past month.
It had begun like this.
Diana hadn’t thought much of the fact that Raoul hadn’t sent her any notes.
Given his personality, it was only natural he wouldn’t ask for help even if something bothered him—so she’d instructed the servants to monitor his condition closely and immediately report any needs.
Yet, nearly a full month had passed, and not only had no note arrived, but no one had brought her even a single word about him.
Whenever she inquired about him, everyone just awkwardly evaded her questions, saying nothing more.
Thinking ‘no news is good news,’ Diana had simply carried on with her money-making schemes—until now.
“Why are you so badly injured?”
“He bites so fiercely he never has a moment of peace.”
Diana had been passing through the corridor near the training grounds on her way to the library
when Angela’s voice suddenly reached her ears.
Glancing around, she saw Angela and Ellen hidden behind a pillar, engaged in a private tryst.
She quickly tried to hurry past the embarrassing sight, but Ellen’s next gravelly remark caught her attention.
‘Bites.’ Even just catching the word in passing made it clear they were talking about Raoul. Diana concealed her presence and listened closely.
“I knew he was insolent, but to actually bite the instructor…?”
“Don’t worry. I beat him far harder. He took such a beating he couldn’t even move afterward.”
“…What? But he’s still just a child—how could you hit him like that?”
“After trying to teach him, I realized he’s no better than a stray dog. Brats like him shouldn’t get lessons—they need to be stomped into submission until they learn to bow before humans. Once he’s properly broken in by fists, he’ll start groveling on his own.”
“But… His Highness ordered you to instruct him….”
“What do you know about it? This *is* life’s lesson. All you need to do is say sweet things when it’s just the two of us. Hmm? Enough about that mongrel—come here.”
Just as the man pulled Angela toward him in a slimy tone—
“Angela… what exactly is this about…?”
The man—who’d been pressing close to Angela with a serpent-like leer—froze, his shoulders stiffening.
Startled, Angela shoved him away.
“A-Ah, my lady! How did you end up here? I was just about to go inside…”
“What do you mean, ‘what is this’?”
Diana’s fingertips trembled violently—from shock, from fury.
“Explain. Right now.”

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
