Getting off the carriage, Heidegger was already there to welcome them.

“Father!”

“Oh, yes. My dear…!”

Heidegger was surprised when he saw the changed Artia, barely recognizing her.

Seeing Artia transformed so drastically, Heidegger realized that her dark magic had been lifted.

Faced with the fact that Artia had achieved what she desired so much and that her body had completely changed, Heidegger blinked his eyes.

“Father!”

As soon as Artia saw Heidegger, she happily jumped into his arms.

He chuckled and warmly welcomed the now sturdy Artia.

There was no part of her that looked the same – her arms, legs, shoulders, back, neck – everything was different.

She had changed so much that she seemed like an entirely different person.

“Have you had no trouble during your absence?”

“Yes. I completed my mission safely and returned.”

“Good, good. You’ve worked hard. How much effort did you put into it?”

Clang! Clang!

Somewhere, a dog barking sound echoed.

When Artia looked up, a large black wolf was running towards them.

“…A dog? A wolf? No, Black?!”

It was none other than Black, wagging his tail incessantly.

He had grown even bigger than the last time they saw each other.

“Black!”

Artia called out his name with joy.

Black ran up to Artia, lifting his front paws and expressing affection.

Even though Artia had changed a lot, Black recognized her at a glance.

“Heck! Heck! Heck!”

Scratching Artia’s body, Black didn’t know what to do out of joy.

“Welcome back!”

This time, it was the Duke’s knights.

Although Artia’s body was not the same as before, her face remained unchanged.

Despite the mismatched appearance, the knights were delighted that Artia had returned.

“Lady…”

Artia couldn’t hold back her tears at the sight of the familiar scenery.

“Oh, I’m tearing up too suddenly…”

As Artia wiped her reddened eyes, the eyes of the knights also became moist.

It was a moment that was about to turn into a sea of tears.

“We missed you so much, Lady.”

Casus took some of the knights and headed to the capital, but there were more knights who couldn’t go.

Therefore, many knights at the Duke’s estate missed Artia.

Approaching Artia, Casus came forward, and the knights lowered their heads with teary eyes.

“We greet the Duchess!”

“We greet the Duchess!”

Heidegger smiled gently as he looked at his son.

“Were you well?”

“Yes. Has everything been okay here?”

“Nothing special happened.”

Leo revealed his presence with a mumbled comment.

Feeling guilty for leaving the Duke’s estate without a word, he glanced at Heidegger.

Although Heidegger was puzzled when he heard the news of Leo sneaking into the palace, he had high expectations for him.

“Leo, you sneaked into the palace hiding in the carriage.”

“W-Well… I apologize.”

“You’ve grown a lot in my absence.”

Leo, in the midst of his growth, had returned to the Duke’s estate after several months.
Due to Artia’s significant transformation, Leo’s changes seemed relatively small.

Nevertheless, it was evident that he had grown quite a bit.

Although he hadn’t caught up to his peer Casus yet, he would likely become similar if he continued growing.

Heidegger smiled contentedly as he looked at his sons.

“Well, let’s all go inside and share the untold stories from these days.”

Casus nodded in agreement.

“Sounds good.”

Entering the Duke’s mansion, Heidegger, Casus, Artia, and Leo sat around the oval dining table, having a long conversation they hadn’t had in a while.

Casus took a seat next to Artia, and Heidegger and Leo sat across from them.

Despite not being away for a very long time, Artia felt strangely excited.

The familiar scent and atmosphere within the Duke’s mansion, and even the table, were all precious.

“Wow, it’s been so long. I missed this place so much.”

Artia took a deep breath and said.

Then, a surprising revelation came from her.

“Father, I’m pregnant.”

“…?”

Heidegger raised his eyebrows at Artia’s sudden announcement.

Artia chuckled brightly and gently swept her belly.

“I’m expecting a child. While staying in the palace, well… it happened.”

“A child?”

Realizing the situation, Heidegger burst into laughter.

“Hahaha… This is more than a couple of things to congratulate. We might need to organize a festival right away.”

“Just your words are enough, Father!”

“Alright. Is there anything you need now? Anything you want to eat?”

“No, nothing. I’m so happy right now; this alone is more than enough.”

Under the table, Artia held Casus’s hand, smiling brightly.

A few months later.

The sound of a baby crying echoed loudly in the Duke’s mansion.

“Wah!”

A thunderous sound announced to everyone in the mansion that a new life had been born.

“It’s a healthy son.”

The midwife confirmed the state of the newborn baby and told Artia.

Artia, drenched in sweat, held the newborn baby in her arms.

“Wah!”

With a cute nose, thick eyebrows, and eyes resembling Casus, the baby was born.

“His nose is already a work of art.”

Kesha shed tears and murmured.

“Kesha, did you give birth to the child?”
