Don't Touch My Thorn (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 75

When veins bulged on Idrish’s arm, Vita recoiled. Idrish’s yellow eyes, so close, looked like those of a ghost.

Vita pulled his sword back. He thrust it forward once more, aiming for an opening—but struck only empty air.

Vita gritted his teeth.

Their blades clashed again and again.

Blood streamed down Vita’s forearm. There was no hope like this.

Above, the Aguila beastkin were helplessly pinned in nets, being slaughtered by arrows—and he was no different.

At this rate, they would all die meaningless deaths.

Vita twisted his body and coiled his legs as if to leap. From his back, enormous wings erupted.

The moment his feet pushed off the ground, he transformed into an eagle. With a powerful flap of his wings, his massive body shot upward like a boulder launched into the sky. Idrish, unwilling to let him escape, also shifted into a white tiger and charged after him.

The white tiger’s claws raked the eagle’s wing, but the eagle managed to take flight before being fully subdued.

Below, the white tiger roared up at him with a warning cry—truly regal in its might. The surrounding eagles trembled violently in their wings, overcome by sudden terror. Vita let out a low growl and flew straight toward the crow holding the net.

“Kaaak!”

The crow let out a single shriek and plummeted to the ground.

A gap opened in the net, and the eagles began escaping. They all swooped down on the crows at once. Knowing they stood no chance against the eagles, the crows dropped the net and retreated before the attack could continue.

Though the eagles barely escaped the net, Aguila’s losses were already severe. They had lost nearly half their soldiers and had no explosives left. Both Idrish and the crows had long since vanished from sight.
