“Did you buy the tickets?”

“Well, about that. There’s a bit of a problem.”

Zeros scratched his forehead, looking troubled.

“There’s only one carriage with a first-class sleeper that we can fully use. The train itself is so small, and not many people use such expensive compartments. There are seats in the second-class carriage, but they’re shared with six people.”

“I’m fine with second-class, actually. It’s nice to meet other beastfolk. So, how about Idrish takes the first-class and I take the second-class…”

“No way.”

Idrish cut me off before I could finish.

“Why not?”

“You’re saying you’d share a compartment with beastfolk you don’t even know?”

“So what? That’s just how trains are. Besides, there’s no other option, is there?”

“That’s not happening. I’d rather take a carriage.”

“No way! I want to ride the train! Besides, a carriage takes seven days to get to Central, but the train only takes four. Why bother?”

At that moment, Zeros chimed in.

“Hold on, but the first-class compartment is spacious enough for both of you to use. Of course, you’d have to share the same bed. It comes with a bathroom, too. There’s a table, so one of you could sleep on that… What do you think?”

“Fine. Let’s go with one first-class compartment.”
