Don't Obsess Over A Married Woman (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 62
Father’s loud shout tore through the night as if ripping it apart.
It was clearly an act of outright bullying.
What should he do? Should he go to his stepmother’s room even now and stop him?
Yet an instinctive fear of his father held Cardiel back.
His stepmother’s instruction earlier that day—to retire early to her room and rest—seemed to grant him a justification to ignore the situation.
However.
Cardiel soon regretted his hesitation.
〈How dare you! How dare you! How dare you… Aaargh!〉
So enraged was his father that, staggering out onto the balcony, he plummeted almost instantly—foolishly, shockingly fast.
Ah.
In that instant, Cardiel locked eyes with two people.
One was the demon who had slipped from the second floor but still clung to life, twitching weakly.
The other was Euphemia, who, while scanning the area, had finally spotted Cardiel.
And then.
Euphemia clearly smiled at that moment—gently closing her eyes with the face of an innocent angel.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.
