Don't Obsess Over A Married Woman (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 136
I completely closed the chest containing the organized documents and locked it with a padlock.
I’ll put this in the storage room over there now….
Right, I should mention the second letter.
In fact, I wrote this second letter before the first one.
In the letter, I wrote to Lunawether Elin Baden, urging her to accept the succession to Viscount Baden’s title.
Additionally, I included condolences for the passing of her mother and informed her of her father’s current condition.
I also added a line stating that I could save Wilhelm York Baden.
Truthfully, Lunawether was someone I had never met even once.
All I’d heard was that before my marriage, horrified by her parents’ misdeeds, she had fled into a convent.
Though I’d never seen her face, I sent her a letter every year—along with a modest donation, of course.
Convents are always poor places; without donations, it’s practically a recipe for starvation.
It wasn’t as if I was being especially kind to her.
‘I was merely shouldering the ducal responsibilities that my husband had carelessly abandoned.’
After all, Viscount Baden was a vassal of Dieren, and a vassal’s family naturally falls under Dieren’s protection, doesn’t it?
Fortunately, it seemed this act had earned me immense goodwill from her.
