Don't Be Kind Rashly (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 18
She ultimately couldn’t sleep at all. Lu rubbed her tired eyes and shuffled down the hallway. Her head throbbed even though she hadn’t drunk any alcohol. But at least she’d reached a conclusion last night.
Just as there was a reason she couldn’t go to her parents, there must also be a reason her parents couldn’t come to her. Probably the same reason for both.
“Oh, good morning!”
Lu looked in surprise at the maid who bowed deeply. From the black dress to the white apron—Martin must have taken care of everything so quickly.
“Hello. Did you sleep well?”
“Yes! The room was so warm.”
Seeing the girl’s youthful face—honestly blurting something out before realizing her slip and blushing—Lu thought, “Ah, so this is that fourteen-year-old orphan.” The girl had already gotten up and was awkwardly holding a duster, which she quickly hid behind her back.
“Have you eaten breakfast?”
“Yes. I had white bread with butter and chicken. Lots of meat…”
Was it really that astonishing to eat meat on an ordinary day? Lu looked at the girl, who seemed far too small and thin for fourteen.
Either the claim of being fourteen was a lie to get a job, or she truly hadn’t been eating enough.
“You need to eat more. So you’re Lucilla. Our names are quite similar. I’m Rustica.”
“Yes, I know. They call you ‘Lu,’ Madam Ambassador.”
The girl, more accustomed to the nickname “Lus” that others used than her real name Lucilla, shyly looked down at the toes of her shoes.
Martin had somehow managed to find clean black shoes for her to wear. Even in such a tight situation, he still ensured the staff were properly dressed—Martin truly wasn’t ordinary.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

I’m not sure where Lu gets the patience to deal with Hayden. He’s like a bulldozer. He seems convinced he’s helping her yet he doesn’t consider her opinions throughout it all.
