The cold air at high altitude struck Lou’s face. The sky that quickly came closer was high and blue.
That’s right. Lou was flying again, in the same spot as yesterday, with the help of the same rider as yesterday.
Hayden, who swiftly grabbed her waist and lightly sat in front, flew straight toward Byfel.
“Aaaaaah!”
“Calm down, Executive Gennes. It’s the same as yesterday.”
Hahaha, Hayden laughed refreshingly from the morning.
“It can’t be the same as yesterday! I don’t want to die early!”
“Ah.”
Hayden laughed.
“That’s a welcome sound.”
He used to be holed up in a hut, with eyes that said he didn’t care when he died, at the edge of momentum.
Squeak!
Lou discovered a white eagle flying near them.
“Why suddenly again……!”
And as she was speaking, she spotted a massive army running towards Byfel in the distance.
Several flags were fluttering in the wind, and winged horses and griffins ran towards Byfel. Imperialle members in uniform were seated on them.
The procession extending from Shalea Palace had no end in sight.
Lou looked back at Hayden. He, too, was dressed in uniform, with a blue cape. The Emperor was now heading to the west, where the monster wave had erupted.
“Your Majesty, you must let me down!”
“If I let you down here, you’ll crash, Executive Gennes. You said you didn’t want to die early.”
He did not let go of Lou’s waist. His grey eyes sparkled with ecstasy.
“This is a kidnapping. You are kidnapping Executive Kaleta.”
“It was my dream. I’m happy it’s finally come true.”
He smiled brightly as he headed towards Byfel. He’s laughing while kidnapping, he’s totally crazy.
Is he dragging her to a terrifying place where monsters or whatever are bursting out, to see her scared and crying?
“Why are you kidnapping me, don’t go! You are heading out now!”
“Yes.”
He answered very calmly.
“Don’t go! Why are you taking a civilian!”
“It’s dangerous.”
Lou looked at Hayden, forgetting even to manage her expression. In the meantime, Icarus had landed at the very front of the procession and began to run.
“The Executive is dangerous, Executive. You could kill with your eyes.”
Wow, she almost shouted ‘Hey!’ Lou admired her patience.
“The Executive’s office is cozier and safer than a place where monsters or whatever are bursting out!”
“No, it’s not.”
Hayden firmly cut her off and tightened the reins further. Thump, thump, thump, thump, the sound of the divine beasts running vibrated Byfel. Suddenly, the end of Byfel was right in front of her.
She saw the end of the broken bridge. Lou, who found nothing but swearing and other inappropriate words for Executive Kaleta, closed her mouth for a moment and became angry because Hayden did not slow down. The next moment, Icarus kicked Byfel and flew.
“Watch, Executive Gennes.”
Hayden spoke cheerfully, drawing his sword.
“It’s watching Fersecta’s military power from the front row.”
Screeeeech!
A terrible noise, like the sound a maul made when howling in front of a barrier, sharply pierced her ears.
Unlike the maul, which was constantly changing shape, the clear, wideopenmouthed monster was rushing towards them in the air, just like Icarus. She could clearly see its very sharp teeth.
Hayden extended his sword. Eek, Lou immediately bowed her head.
Swoosh, she felt the sound of one slash and the wings of a monster passing overhead. Lou raised her head.
What had charged at them was spattering blood and falling below, crashing into the same monster and dragging a few more down with it. She turned to look back.
‘Imperialle……!’
Through the enormous transportation magic circle in the sky, knights mounted on divine beasts were pouring out endlessly. It was an enormous scale, an enormous momentum.
They were slaughtering flying monsters without hesitation, just like the divine beasts, strong and victorious.
Beyond the teleportation circle, the place she had come from was Shalea’s Byphel, and the place she had already crossed was the western wasteland where she had been three days ago during tea time.
The color of the soil and the dry atmosphere, the vast land that stretched endlessly looked familiar. And that land was swarmed by monsters, covering it like a horde of ants.
“General Rustica Gennes.”
Hayden’s gray eyes met Lu’s green eyes.
“Hold the reins in my stead.”
“Are you insane, really?”
Swish, Hayden, who slashed a charging monster once, did not even blink an eye.
“So, will the general wield the sword?”
This time, Lu failed to control her expression. She dared to glare at Emperor Ferzeta until her eyes almost popped out, then grabbed the reins he held out.
Hayden smirked. He somehow looked happy, which annoyed Lu even more.
“Your eyes are very severe.”
“Death is so close, I can’t see you in my eyes!”
Lu ducked to avoid the claw of another charging monster. Fortunately, Icaros was very smart and followed her instructions moderately.
“If you don’t like it, just cut my throat now!”
If he did, they would crash together. She could never die alone. She gritted her teeth as she looked straight ahead.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
