This is the story before Rozelia held her darling little lady in her arms.

It had been two months since Rozelia, a woman of Rapellios’s bloodline, married Klaus, the sovereign and Grand Duke of Valtezar.

After the duchy’s independence, they were buried under mountains of tasks, leaving them no time for a honeymoon.

Rozelia was just as busy—overseeing the royal palace’s internal affairs as queen and reviewing the trade venture she had started with Marquis Bellog, making each day a blur of exhaustion.

Thus, neither of them voiced any complaint about missing their honeymoon. Instead, the complaints came from elsewhere.

“Can’t you two just cut it out a little?”

Clojet let out a deep sigh as she watched the Grand Duke and his wife peacefully tending to their separate duties in the study.

“You need to look up at the sky to catch stars! When will I ever get to be an aunt at this rate!”

Klaus, who had been silently reading papers, responded curtly to her grumble.

“Do you really want to be called ‘aunt’ at your age?”

Clojet was only seventeen this year.

But since his reply wasn’t what she wanted to hear, she scowled, her eyes narrowing into sharp triangles, and shouted,

“That’s not what I meant!”

Completely unfazed by Clojet’s tantrum, the Grand Duke and Duchess carried on as if nothing had happened, prompting Eva, who stood nearby attending to them, to sigh deeply.

“Your Highness Princess Clojet, someone might hear you outside. You must show proper respect to His Grace the Grand Duke.”
