At her words, Klaus suddenly lifted his head and stared at her with wide eyes.

Seeing her turn away, blush, and look embarrassed, he curled his lips into a graceful smile and swiftly scooped her up into his arms.

“I can walk on my own!”

“No, because I don’t know when you’ll change your mind again.”

When he flashed a teasing grin at her after those words, Rozelia blushed and buried her face against his chest, muttering under her breath as if speaking to herself.

“I won’t change my mind…”

Hearing her whisper, Klaus quickened his pace.

It was late, and fortunately, there were no servants on the floor where Klaus’s bedroom was located.

Well, even if there had been servants around, his towering frame was so large that from behind, no one would have realized he was carrying her anyway…

Before long, Klaus roughly pushed open the bedroom door and entered, setting her down on the bed before hurriedly starting to strip off his upper garments.

Noticing her reaction, Klaus smirked, lowered his head, and gently pressed his lips to hers.

What began as a light kiss soon grew desperate and deep, as if each sought to devour the other.

When she came to her senses, she found herself lying on the bed, with him hovering above her, looking down as though ready to devour her.
