Five days before Shuria and Asperan’s wedding.

Chaos erupted in the groom’s bedroom.

“Why on earth am I stuck doing this?”

Asperan muttered, furrowing his brow. Ulysses pouted in response.

“Stop complaining, brother. If the abandoned don’t stick together, how else are we supposed to survive this lonely world?”

Ulysses and Bonita had arrived in Loakin just yesterday afternoon to attend their cousin’s wedding.

After exchanging letters consistently for several months, Bonita and Shuria were visibly delighted to finally see each other face-to-face again.

The two women, claiming they had much to talk about, ate breakfast alone together, enjoyed tea time, and went for walks.

Eventually, they even abandoned their husbands (or fiancé) entirely to throw their own private pajama party.

It was only natural, then, that the lonely husbands (or fiancé) quietly gathered together with bottles of alcohol in hand.

In the gloomy atmosphere, Asperan took a small sip of whiskey.

“Next. Ask your question.”

“Hmm… What else is there?”

Ulysses, his face flushed from mild intoxication, scratched his head with the tip of his pen.

Each man held a sheet of paper marked with several crooked circles.
