I forgot even my excitement and looked up at Asperan. His gaze was fixed straight on me.

“Shuria. You promised to grant my wish.”

“Huh? Yes!”

At my vigorous reply, he slowly lowered his eyes. His long, lush eyelashes cast a long shadow across his face, looking exceptionally lovely.

“I just thought of a wish I’d like you to grant right now.”

He reached out his other hand as well and gently clasped both of mine. My hands fit perfectly within his large palms.

Watching this, my heart suddenly began to flutter wildly. My body temperature shot up rapidly.

‘Why, why is this happening? Has the temperature-regulating magic in Princecia Palace broken down?’

Before I could collect myself, Asperan gently pressed his forehead against mine. When I glanced up slightly, I saw within his eyes the most beautifully brilliant blue sea in the world.
