“My Lord? What’s happening all of a sudden?”

“Shuria is injured. Examine her.”

“What? Miss Shuria?”

Lumel looked at me with his large eyes. I was lying on the couch with the help of Asphayren.

Thanks to Asphayren finally releasing the binding magic, I could move freely now. I waved my hand, savoring the freedom I had just regained.

“Lumel, it’s been a while!”

“Yes, it has, but where on earth did you get injured like this?”

Lumel approached the couch and examined me with a worried expression. His voice was filled with concern.

Asphayren explained the whole incident from the side.

“While walking the Moonlight Wolfhounds, she suddenly jumped up like a fox hunting and slammed her whole body into the ground.”

“Who willingly slams their body into the ground like that? It was an accident.”

I protested actively, bewildered by Asphayren’s nonchalant behavior. Of course, he pretended not to hear.

Asphayren snapped his fingers, and the curtain from the corner of the room flew over, surrounding the couch.

“Treat her, Lumel.”

“Yes. Miss Shuria, excuse me for a moment.”

Lumel carefully removed my outerwear and the clothes underneath. He asked, “You mentioned you fell, right? Is there any specific place that hurts?”

“It feels like my right arm is dislocated. My right knee is a bit stiff too.”
Lumel examined my body meticulously. Thankfully, my arm had only slightly strained muscles, and there were minor bruises on the right knee and thigh, the points of initial impact with the ground.

“It’s fortunate that your bones aren’t injured.”

Saying this, Lumel lightly smiled as he applied ointment to my injured areas and wrapped them in bandages. Then he handed me a new tube of ointment and a potion.

“Apply the ointment regularly, and take the potion before bed. Your muscle pain will go away.”

“Thank you, Lumel.”

“It’s only natural that I do what needs to be done.”

After the treatment, Asphayren removed the curtain once more. Seeing me sprawled on the couch, he suddenly decided to tease me.

“The first time I saw you, you were lying on a bed, and out of nowhere, you threw yourself to the ground. It seems like your hobby is having intense encounters with the floor. At this rate, you might lose the monster keeper I barely managed to save. That would be quite a problem.”

I had no energy to respond, so I just slumped. Instead, Lumel spoke up on my behalf.

“Don’t stress the patient, my Lord.”

“Are you saying she’ll catch a fatal disease if I don’t nag her? In that case, nag away.”

“It’s not nagging; it’s concern.”

“Concern, huh? Always clinging to me like a nagging old man, talking about getting a queen for me as soon as possible, you’re the only one, you know that?”

‘Queen!’

At the mention of the most interesting topic, I suddenly sat up. Asphayren and Lumel had unknowingly started a heated argument.
“Since we’re on the subject, I’ll tell you once more. Now that the country is somewhat stable, you should consider marrying and securing your successor as soon as possible.”

“Damn it, I’ve dug my own grave, haven’t I? How many times do I have to say it? I have no intention.”

“Why do you have no intention? In that case, what are your plans for the succession?”

“Yulysis is there.”

In the face of Lumel’s sharp attack, Asphayren defended himself with his cousin, Yulysis, as his shield. The protagonist of , Yulysis, suddenly appeared in the conversation, making it even more intriguing.

Lumel, with a tone of disbelief, asked, “Why is Yulysis suddenly mentioned?”

“Yulysis also carries the blood of the Loarkin royal family, so his children have a legitimate claim to the Loarkin throne.”

“Are you saying you want to take Yulysis’s children away? My Lord, Yulysis’s children are the heirs to the Granthia royal family.”

“Yulysis and his wife loved each other so much they died for it, so they must have had at least a few children. One or two, perhaps.”

“My Lord! How can you even consider taking young children away from their parents?”

Lumel exclaimed in shock. I shared the sense of despair.

I thought Asphayren would marry for the sake of succession, but… to think he would consider taking Yulysis and Bonita’s children away.

Lumel and I staggered back, appalled. However, Asphayren’s face remained unemotional.

“Let’s end this conversation here. Shuria, let’s go. Take me to them.”

Asphayren spoke, but his gaze occasionally shifted toward the wall clock.
Only then did I realize that I had taken up too much of Asphayren’s time today.

I have a sense of shame too. I couldn’t impose any further on Asph here.

I politely declined.

“Thank you. But thanks to your care, I can walk on my own now.”

“Don’t push yourself.”

“It’s not pushing myself. I’m really okay.”

After I declined twice, Asphayren stopped insisting. He lightly tapped my forehead.

“Be careful going in. We’ll meet again in two days then.”

“Yes! I’ll see you on that day!”

Asphayren left the examination room first. Lumel escorted him to the door and returned.

Lumel, who was sitting in front of me, suddenly spoke.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
