A heavy silence settled between the man and woman, and from there, there was no turning back.

The smile vanished from Sabrina’s face as well.

“Please let go of this hand and talk.”

“I refuse.”

Anger surged at the brazen face of the man she hadn’t seen in so long. The rule that the one who lost their reason first would be the loser had long since disappeared from her mind.

“Do you mean to have this conversation here?”

“Why, is that not allowed?”

Julian was just as emotional. Sabrina faltered at the heavily twisted tone she was hearing from him for the first time.

‘Yes, actually, this is more natural.’

As she let out a self-mocking smirk, Julian’s face hardened subtly.

Though many people had already left the arena, a considerable number still remained around the carriage.

It was only natural that their gazes were drawn to Julian and her. For a moment, Sabrina wanted to hide somewhere, but then she thought, since she was leaving soon anyway, what did it matter?

“There’s no reason it can’t be. If you have something to say, go ahead.”

“Don’t you… have anything to say to me?”

“I have nothing to say, but I do have something I’m curious about.”
