Walter looked at the yellow rose I was clutching tightly and gave a faint smile.

Why on earth? Was there a letter written on the yellow rose saying I wanted to go to House Chaplin?

“Might it be… that you don’t recognize me?”

Not “Do you know me?” but “Don’t you recognize me?” Truly, his confidence was extraordinary—though admittedly, it wasn’t without reason.
