So-eun took Bo-bae’s hand, got up, and sat back in her seat.

Startled again by her name, So-eun attempted to hide under her desk once more. However, the person calling her name was unexpected: a quick delivery man holding a bouquet.

“Yes. Here’s a gift and flowers. Could Han So-eun please sign for it?” the delivery man replied, extending the receipt for confirmation. So-eun dazedly signed it and received the bouquet and gift.
“Supervisor, what’s this? Is it a restorative?” Bo-bae asked, seeing a large bouquet and three packets of hangover cure. The restorative was an expensive herbal remedy, safe for the liver, with a lengthy description attached.
The sender’s address on the delivery receipt read ‘Law Firm Yulgyu’.
It was a gift from Hee-wook, sent from his office.
So-eun’s worried face finally lit up, sparkling with tears. She had been disappointed not to hear from him that morning, but he had still shown his care for her!

Hee-wook’s eyes flickered at her confession. It was a kind gesture, but honestly, it was an overstep.
Choi Hyun-ji was an exceptionally clear and bright person. Her actions and words were brisk and sensible, making her popular among colleagues. Hee-wook had grown quite close to her recently and felt a pleasant sense of pride over their relationship.
