So-eun left her home for the first time in a while without her thick-rimmed glasses, wearing contact lenses instead. It felt as though she was underdressed, exposing too much. But it wasn’t just that which made her feel uncomfortable; it was also her actions from the night before.
Why did last night’s So-eun say such crazy things to the esteemed director?
If she was going to do something embarrassing, she should’ve just completely forgotten it. Why did these sparse memories torment her so much? She wished all these fragments of memory were just a dream. If only she had a dream more thrilling than a 4D experience…
With her hair untied and her head hung low, So-eun clocked in at work.
Her colleague, Park Bo-bae, greeted her warmly, “Good morning, Supervisor.”
“Morning, Bo-bae.”
But it wasn’t a good morning.
So-eun sat down, hiding her inner turmoil, when suddenly someone called out with a hearty voice, “Director! Good morning!”
Startled, So-eun quickly slid under her desk, curling up as a reflex born from deep-seated embarrassment. Her heart pounded. The tall figure of a man walking assertively caught her glimpse through teary eyes.
‘Please don’t come this way,’ So-eun prayed fervently. Fortunately, Director Kim Tae-joon received a few greetings and left after scanning the area.

Bo-bae, mistaking So-eun’s hiding as a reaction to being scolded by Director Kim for causing an accident during work hours, looked at her sympathetically. “Supervisor, come out. The director has left.”
“Okay, thanks.”
So-eun took Bo-bae’s hand, got up, and sat back in her seat.
Then, another voice called out, looking for her. “Is Han So-eun here?”
Startled again by her name, So-eun attempted to hide under her desk once more. However, the person calling her name was unexpected: a quick delivery man holding a bouquet.
“Here,” So-eun hesitated, so Bo-bae waved at the delivery man.
“Is this Han So-eun?” the delivery man asked.
“This is Han So-eun. Is that a bouquet for her?”
“Yes. Here’s a gift and flowers. Could Han So-eun please sign for it?” the delivery man replied, extending the receipt for confirmation. So-eun dazedly signed it and received the bouquet and gift.
“Supervisor, what’s this? Is it a restorative?” Bo-bae asked, seeing a large bouquet and three packets of hangover cure. The restorative was an expensive herbal remedy, safe for the liver, with a lengthy description attached.

The sender’s address on the delivery receipt read ‘Law Firm Yulgyu’.
It was a gift from Hee-wook, sent from his office.
So-eun’s worried face finally lit up, sparkling with tears. She had been disappointed not to hear from him that morning, but he had still shown his care for her!
Her frustration from yesterday melted away.
[Star Icon]Hee-wook received So-eun’s call just before starting his work.
[I received the gift you sent. Thank you so much. I’m really touched.]“Huh?” Hee-wook was still groggy from the alcohol and hadn’t contacted her yet. He couldn’t understand what she was talking about.
While blinking stupidly with his phone in hand, his colleague, Choi Hyun-ji, waved a note in front of him.
[Dash] That’s So-eun, right? Must be a call about the gift. Say you’re glad she received it well.ads
Understanding Hyun-ji’s note, Hee-wook nodded.
“Glad you got it. I’m busy with work, so I’ll hang up now.”
After a brief response, Hee-wook hung up and looked puzzled at Hyun-ji.
Hyun-ji grinned and confessed, “I sent the bouquet and hangover cure to So-eun’s office. I didn’t write the sender’s name, just the address, so she probably thought it was from you, Hee-wook. It turned out well, I guess.”
Hee-wook’s eyes flickered at her confession. It was a kind gesture, but honestly, it was an overstep.
Choi Hyun-ji was an exceptionally clear and bright person. Her actions and words were brisk and sensible, making her popular among colleagues. Hee-wook had grown quite close to her recently and felt a pleasant sense of pride over their relationship. He had even swelled with pride upon receiving a handkerchief as a gift from her… However, the thought of Hyun-ji extending her special attention beyond himself to his girlfriend So-eun was something he couldn’t welcome wholeheartedly.
Hee-wook didn’t want to discuss So-eun with Hyun-ji.
“Why do you even bother with all that?”
He didn’t want So-eun and Hyun-ji to become close. Actually, he didn’t want So-eun to become close with anyone at the law firm. He didn’t want anyone to know that So-eun had donated her liver to his mother.
Hee-wook had tightly concealed the fact of So-eun’s liver donation. After the surgery, he had created a confidentiality agreement about the donor with the hospital, anonymized all records, and made it challenging to trace So-eun’s donation. Hee-wook was exceptionally skilled at manipulating documents.
He had wiped away a selfish past that could hinder his promising future as a lawyer. As long as So-eun stayed quiet, the liver donation would remain unknown. No one would point fingers at him and his family for their selfishness.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
